Herpes, friction blister, or...?

Early Monday morning my boyfriend and I had sex. He was really rough with me, rougher than he's ever been, & I got really dry & it hurt pretty bad. Ever since then I've been itching pretty badly. I get yeast infections often and so I had a tube of prescription ointment that my GYN prescribed me a long time ago, I had just never used it before. Well, Wednesday I was itching all over pretty bad so I decided to try out the ointment. I rubbed some on my vagina & it started burning. Then a painful bump came up so I applied a warm wash cloth to it & now it kind of looks like a blister. I've had it since Wednesday, so three days now & it still hurts pretty badly but doesn't really appear to be getting worse. I am worried sick that I got herpes. I'm hoping it's not, but it does KIND OF look like it I guess, but I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years & I got a full STD test before I was with him, including a blood test that tested for herpes & it was all negative, so I know I didn't have anything before I was with him. He said he hasn't had a blood test but that he's never had any symptom of genital herpes whatsoever & no reason to believe he has it. HOWEVER, he did have a cold sore about a month ago so I'm worried sick that I somehow got genital herpes from his cold sore. We never had oral sex while he had a cold sore, but we did have sex once & he fingered me. Could he have possibly touched his cold sore & I got it from him fingering me? Or could he have HSV2 & just not ever know & give it to me? Or maybe it's a friction blister from rough sex? I trust that he would not withhold that information from me if he had genital herpes, but I guess maybe he got it before he was with me and just didn't know? Could it be a blister from friction from it being rough and way too dry? It honestly kind of looks like a burn. I don't have multiple blisters and I have no other symptoms at all other than the painful blister/bump or whatever. I know that if I get a blood test done, it will be positive for HSV-1, as I got cold sores when I was a kid, so I feel like the blood test wouldn't do me any good because the positive HSV-1 test wouldn't really tell me if what's on my vagina is actually herpes or not since I already have the HSV-1 virus. I attached a picture. Sorry, I am on my period so you can see a bit of blood, but I need opinions!

I went to planned parenthood and they told me it's herpes. She didn't do any tests or anything, but looked at it and said she's sure that's what it is.
Now my boyfriend and I are on the verge of breaking up over this. Did he cheat on me? I know for a fact I didn't have it prior to him and he swears he doesn't have it. How did I get it?? From him fingering me?

I have something similar .. I have only had one sexual partner (someone I had sex with), and was with him for 1.5 years. We broke up in 2013. I was tested for STDs then, and was given the all clear (I dont think i was tested for HERPES). I got into a relationship with someone else in 2016, he has never had any sexual partners at all... we was together for 2 years and were recently intimate. We only did foreplay, and have never had sex. I shaved and had some ingrown pimples, after picking one it turned into a sore... by this time we had oral sex, he did not have any visible cold sores on his mouth or anything. BUT, this sore became an abscess with a vesicle like appearance at first, and I had been draining it. It is healing and now I have another sore near the bum cheek area... I am so scared. Could this be herpes? it looks a lot like yours, with like a yellow middle-ish.

I had a very similar looking lesion. I got tested and found out I had chlamydia. I think the sore was just from too much irritation due to me scratching too much.

Just wanted to share some information because a very similar thing happened to me. I am 22 yrs old and I am a grad student who studies KSHV, another familial herpes virus and am also taking a virology course this semester.
I think the most important thing to understand is that while Herpes 2 is the 'sexually transmitted disease', and is primarily spread through genital contact, Herpes 1, the much more common version can also be spread through Oral sex. Transmission can definitely come from someone who is primarily asymptomatic as well. Meaning if your partner has either, they can spread it to you without experiencing cold sores or blisters themselves. Also some people NEVER experience an outbreak and unless they have been tested for both, they cant for sure say they dont have them. Specifically HSV1, as it is fairly common and 67 % of the global population has it.
I was a virgin before I had sex w my current boyfriend. A week after our first time, i became irritated in and around my vagina. I ignored it, after all it was a slight irritation. 1-2 days later that irritation did not improve and my vaginal hole was in a lot of pain, whenever it was touched or we tried to have penetrative sex. My vagina and labia also swelled and the itchiness that accompanied was not normal at all. I also had what felt like (Pain wise) little tiny cuts or abrasions on them when i tried to touch them (The pain around and in the immediate inside of my vaginal hole was most intense)(It hurt ALOT). I finally, and i think wisely, decided to see a health professional. After all, I was a virgin prior and my boyfriend had told me he was tested and safe (He was). I thought it could be a host of things. Maybe sex for the first time had thrown off my bacteria in my vagina, maybe i wasnt practicing safe, post-sex practices (I had'nt peed after a few times), maybe i was shaving too much and too deep and it was abrasions from that. My doctor took one look and said it was probably herpes.
The test results came back and said it was HSV1. My boyfriend had asymptomatically passed it during Oral sex. This is possible!
I tell this story because I was really scared at first. I had never felt something like this pain before and i generally have a healthy vagina. I think the best route of action is to just go get tested. Its hard for many people to understand that its asymptomatic and I think alot of times people assume they are clean if they dont have extreme and horrible symptoms, but you can never know unless you get tested. Treatment is fairly cheap and super effective. My symptoms went away 3 days after I started my anti viral and the good news is outbreaks generally are few and far between and the first one is the most intense as your body has'nt created immune memory for the virus yet.
Hope all is well.

thanks for sharing that but wait so you're saying you have HSV1 in your genitals?? isnt that oral herpes? and if it was transmitted during oral wouldn't you have HSV2(genital herpes?) Sorry I'm just trying to understand it all as i was recently diagnosed but going back because i believe was a misdiagnosis 🤦♀️
