How long did yalls result take to come back? I still haven't got them back from Friday.. also day 7 on Valtrex and it hasn't changed anything... could this be something else? I doubt it is, but still holding on to that little bit of hope??

If you already was going through an outbreak then it's really pointless to take the medicine and when you are going through one it won't do nothing for you ...

It shouldn't take no longer then a week for your results to come back pretty sure that's how long it took for mine ..

      Everything will be okay .

Are you at least feeling better ? Or are you having the same issues down there?

Not really... I've had no relief. It's been almost two full weeks 😵

      Aw man.

      Definitely sounds similar to it..

      It's crazy.

The only thing you can do is hope the best if you do have it then it's best to find out where it came from .,

And you will get through it regardless .

Everything you are saying all sounds to similar .

Finally got my blood work back guys!

Need some help understanding some blood work?!

I thought you had a swab? The blood test for herpes is no good until 3 months after infection. That's the IgG antibody test. (IgM is not even advised due to problems with accuracy and reliability.) A blood test at the time of a first outbreak is only good for establishing your baseline (existing status). Did your swab results come back?

Yes, I got the swab and blood work...

      Positive for HSV1 Negative HSV2

      Blood work(IGG)

      HSV1. 0.10

      HSV2. 0.11

If the swab says positive for HSV1 and negative for HSV2, then that's the main thing you need to know. From your IgG, it looks like it's a new HSV1 infection, as your score is still very low. The scores are never zero, so ignore the numbers for HSV2.
