Herpes or ingrown hair? Concerned.

was sexually active about a week ago. few days ago, middle of last week felt a hard lump. I assumed it was an ingrown hair. this past year I've gotten several of them due to boxer briefs I've had that fit too tight on my inner thigh of both legs. this morning getting ready to take a shower I saw the the bump and needed some additional in put. very concerned. imageimage

hey I strongly believe this isn't herpes but a boil that needs to be lanced, if it makes you feel better go get it swabbed and get a igg or igm blood test to make sure. hope you feel better

how many of these do you have on you, do you have any other symptoms? (i.e: swollen lymph nodes, fever, or the spots being painful?)

that is the only one and it had been there for more up to a full week before busting today. I think I'm suffering from a mild case of folliculitis. like I said over the past 4 months I've had the same thing on my thigh each leg. one hard bump at a time.
