Hi Tess & Lisa
I have had to rest over these past few days as i have been a tad uncomfortable and exhuasted with the constant pain. Poor Fudge and Max havent been out for a good run over the weekend so their a bit fed up too bless them.
I am off to see my doctor shortly to see if she will support my claim for a blue badge for my car, and also if she thinks i should claim for DLA. Whats worrying me about claiming for that is that i can walk about most of the time around the house regardless of the pain that i am in. Due to my stubbourness of doing things for myself. But when grocery shopping i need every ounce of energy saved to enable me to get round the store, instead of being in pain before i get into the store due to having to park too far away.
So i think my claim would be refused on those grounds....i am sort of inbetween the entitlement bracket i think. I have also started the cook yourself thin diet, so i am hoping that will improove my health. as well as help me loose some weight. The meals are realy tastie too. AnywayI had best get ready to go out...take care

I can't understand Linda why the rheumatologist can't keep us on their books. Probably understand more for the fibro but you also have Oa and if anything should have keep seeing you if only once a year to check whether it is deterioating or not lol  I am going at the end of October and if they say they don't need to see me anymore. I am going to ask them how will I know if it is getting worse without someone looking at my joints. It is no good seeing gp and being referred all over again and having to wait another three months or more to be seen. I want some answers this time on how bad it will be in say five years time.
I have been through the system twice before but this time saw a different rheumatologist who was much better. Hopefully he will follow it through. If you had rheumatoid arthritis I am sure they would be seeing you on a regular basis. Sorry I am on my soap box today lol  I am having a good old moan. Hope you are not in too much pain today. We have nice sunny weather again today!
Hi Di so pleased you got on ok yesterday. Just being believed there is something the matter with you boosts your confidence. I was like you didn't know I had any pressure points until her started pressing on my body! Probably be a good idea for both you and your husband to go and talk to someone together if he will go. It is a big adjustment for you both to accept there is something going on with your body. Especially having OA as well. With the best will in the world I don't think any of our husbands or partners can fully understand what it is like to be fair to them.
But we do need their support and understanding. Have you got another appointment to go back to see Rhematologist? Hope you are not too sore today after your injections. I only had one injection in the top of my leg a steriod injection but didn't seem to work for fibro or OA. But hope yours work for you
I hope I don't have to wait a year for my appointment to Podiatry as I have alreay waited six weeks for a letter to arrive lol  My toe was going really strange and painful again yesterday. Not sure if it is when I do too much walking on it lol  It has been ok over last couple of weeks. The last two weeks done a lot more walking and helping my daughter and son move into their new homes!
Well Ses hope you are still in one piece after your daughter's sleep over last night. Wish her happy birthday from me! I hope you will not be in too much extra pain with the stress!d
Keep smiling everyone

rhymatolidgy never said i was to see her again all she said after telling me all my ailments was she was writing to a pain management and if i needed steriod injections again to go to my gp prob have to refer me to her again no doubt, another few month wait.
it was really strange though cause the doc gave me 3 steriod injections 2 in my hips and one in my collar bone.. then sent me to the nurse for another one in my arm? seems pointless.well tonight im in horrible pain and im hinting to my family to help but they all seem to think i can go on even though im in pain..the only way i get rest is if i go off to bed, then they seem to understand. so im now going to get busy trying to fights the dwp tribunal for some care allowance... so fingers crossed

Poor you being in so much pain  The pain from the injections will wear off after a few days. But when you have fibro pain as well makes it really painful. We all seem with this illness playing the waiting game to see someone or other.
My toe is not too good and hoping it will not go so can't walk on it again. I have two parties coming up in October a 50th and 30th that is a Seventies theme. Got to find some clothes from somewhere lol.
Don't think I will be wearing the really big ones!
Hope Linda, Ses you are both ok! Also haven't heard from you for a while Di and hope you are not in too much pain.
Take care everyone
Love Tess x x

Well it was my daughters 11th Birthday with 4 friends sleeping over  it went ok but I am feeling the effects today as my neck is in agony? so I am sat here with a hot water bottle as a pillow resting my head on  it has been a sicky burning pain so I am not at all feeling too good  but anyway I just thought I would say hi to you all........
So glad your appointment at the Rhumatologists went well Di, at least they listened as like Tess said it does boost your confidence knowing the pain is not in your head  I was an unlucky one as mine was dreadful, but at least now it is over with and you have the recognition you deserve xxxx
Yeah Linda it is so unfortunate that all medical staff do not work the same way but if medical professionals were all robots  that would be the only way they would treat us the same.... as I guess they all have their own methods off addressing things and it is unfortunate that some individual get treated unfairly? this is what the FMA uk are working towards, to get us fibro sufferers recognition xxx anyway I am waffling so please excuse me xxxx
I do hope your foot is sorted out soon Tess as now the colder weather is around the corner I wouldn't like to imagine how hard it would be if there is pain in your feet in the winter months xxx The only downside of my daughters birthday was her father spoiling it by not sending her a birthday card....... his excuse was because the girls have said through the solicitor that they do not wish to see him because of the death threats via the phone (which he denys) he cannot send a card as he is not allowed contact....... what a excuse as last time when we had a restraining order he sent birthday cards to the girls...... just his excuse as he doesn't want to pay for the girls..... he gave up his job so he didn't have to pay CSA so he is a pitiful excuse for a man which does not deserve the name \"DAD\" I think this is another reason why I am in pain as they man irritates me so much but anyway I do hope everyone is having a good day xxxxxxx gentle hugs and keep smiling as Tess says xxxxxxx
