Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all doing ok. Well had a good holiday was away for ten days. Had a mixture of weather but luckily no thunderstorms. While we were away in our home town of Whittlesey they had an all day thunderstorm with torrential rain and fork lightning.

One thing I did miss while I was away was my exercises. I no I shoudn't say that but my pain was really worse without them. So it is good to do some gentle exercise to increase the endorphins to ease the pain.

Just done them this morning.

Stewart's arm is healing ok after his burn before we went away. Although every two days and to travel and find a minor burns unit or a and e. Luckily while we were away in Yorkshire was not a problem and didn't even have to wait long. Wasn't until we were getting nearer to home at Sutton on Sea, they told him he would have to go to Mablethorpe. Was day before coming home so left it and saw nurse at drs yesterday.

Lizy I hope you have a good holiday in your camper van. Where are you going? Linda how are your alterations going? Lindy hope you are ok as not seen you on for a while. Ses and Di hope you both are doing ok too.

Well catch up soon everyone!

Love Tess x x

    Hi Lizzy & Everyone!

Will bear that in mind Lizzy drinking bicarbonate of soda in water. That is probably what they put in the cystitis relief sachets. I know they have some cranberry in them. Cranberry juice is another good thing to drink as well. Can be to sweet so best to get the unsweetened juice.

Thank you for the thought of sending a drink and cake. Pity your computer wouldn't send it. Sounds a nice idea putting chocolate in your husbands undies draw as long as it doesen't melt lol.

Di I hope you are doing ok and feeling a little better. Don't forget to come on and talk it you need some support.

Linda must be nearing the end of your mums alterations now and how are you coping with all that travelling. You must be feeling really tired.

Lindy how are you as we haven't heard from you in a very long time. How are the Wedding plans going.

Ses I hope things are improving for you with your daugther! Also I hope you are not in too much pain with the stress of everything.

    Big hugs for you all.

    Hi Everyone

Its been a bit quiet on here hope that means you are all well.

Perhaps bicarb and cranberry together would work best.

By the way found something quite good for IB its called normacol and you can buy it over the counter. Much better than that awful fybogel.

Today decided to sod the paceing bit and do some cooking for the freezer for the days I feel rough. The only problem is we may have to eat one meal tomorrow due to all the cooking today. Made ten meals and tonights as well. Just hope they will all fit in the freezer.

Tuesday managed to get the school uniform shopping done. The first time I have managed to do it in 4 years without coming home and spending the rest of the day and the following in bed. How can 3 pairs of black school shoes be so hard to buy and 3 lots of school uniform.

    Well its time to eat.

    Take care everyone.

    Hi Lizzy, Tess and everyone,

Well, tonight I feel as if someone has pulled the plug, hardly have the energy to sit at pc and type sad Whatever it was that kept me going over the last 2 weeks disappeared the minute I got in the car to come home from Mum`s this afternoon :!:

All her work has been finished and today I put everything back in the kitchen and bathroom and tried to restore \"normal\" for her. She has lost her tablets numerous times, declared that someone has taken her freezer (it was in the bedroom while the kitchen was done) cried countless times because nothing was in the right place and dozens of other things too many to mention :!: The biggest thing that has come out of the last weeks is that she is adament that she is not going to see that \"funny\" woman again (the memory clinic nurse) that there is nothing wrong with her, she forgets things but all old people do that :!: :!: Goodness only knows how I`m going to get her to the memory clinic in 2 weeks, and even worse explain to them that me and my cousin are so worried about her and want to get her some help, because she is going to tell them its all nonsense and there`s nothing wrong with her :!: I`m going to try and put that to the back of my mind for the next few days and concentrate on restoring my energy levels, I might be able to see things a bit more clearly then and make a list of priorities for that appointment.

Be thinking of you Lizzy after all that baking, hope you`re not too worn out tomorrow, Tess hope you water infection is clearing up and you are feeling better. Di, Ses, Lindy hope you are ok too. Lizzy`s right it has been a bit quiet lately. We all seem to have our own problems to concentrate on.

well I think an early night is needed, so take care all

Hi Lizy, Linda, Di and Everyone!

Wow you have been a busy girl Lizy! Good to think ahead but don't overdo it too much will you. You are getting organised with the school uniforms and I remember that well. I had five to get fixed up with uniform and it is hard work trailing round the shops to find everything.

Like you said I think the shoes are the hardest part to find.

Linda I bet you are pleased that the two weeks travelling has stopped for a while. I think when you know you have to do something like that you find that extra energy from somewhere. As soon as it is done though you relax and that is when the lack of energy kicks in. Take a little while for yourself if you get a chance. I know it is difficult for you with looking after Ray and family. My water infection is a lot better thank you. The only thing now is my period that is messing around on and off. I do wish the menopause would come and go quickly. I am 53 now so hopefully it is on its way out as I have been feeling a lot hotter lately more than usual. Think I am going to have an early night as well. Stewart on last night of his shift. Got Sophie and Molly for the day tomorrow and will be good to spend sometime with them again. Won't be long now before Molly goes into year 1 when she goes back in September. Sophie is nearly 11months old and will walk holding one hand. She can crawl but would rather be on her feet. Don't think it will be long before she is walking once she gets her confidence and balance.

Di it is good that you were able to have a talk to John openly about how you are feeling. I hope the sickness tablets work for you soon. Having the sickness must have been making you feel horrible and down. Lets hope things will be on the up for you now.

    Take care everyone!

    Good Evening to Everyone,

Linda what a relief for you that the alterations are all over and done with for the time being. I think adrenalin ( i think thats how you spell it) kicks in for thoses types of situations. Take a well earned rest and pamper yourself. I like chocolates but not the weight they put on you.

Di I'm glad you can chat to your husband, i did that a few months back it made our relationship much stronger, but he has also been a lot more observant especially with the medicine cabinate. (he hadn't realised how depressed i had become) I hope never to go to that place again. Di i hope the pain becomes less for you on the patches.

Tess hows things with you? Hope you had a good day with Sophie and Molly. At least you know you are going through the menopause, having had a hysterectomy at the age of 37 I haven't a clue where I am in my cycle, my mum says all my problems are down to the menopause. I'm 44 now and she may well be right my Gp just laughed when I asked if all my problems were down to the menopause, your too young he said.

Well yesterday was a bad day, as the kids spent the whole day winding each other up, they haven't been like that for a while.

I'm pleased I did all that cooking. Now that I'm not sleeping all the time I am now finding I have got time to fill so I think I need a hobby any suggestions, it also needs to be cheap. :P

Lindy and Ses hope all is well with you both and that you are having a good summer.

    Take care all.

    Hi Lizy

Yes had a lovely time with Molly and Sophie but ready for a rest when they go home. Had quite a busy weekend though. Always say won't do too much then needed to catch up after looking after the girls on Friday.

When they come I just spend my time with them apart from making something for us all to eat etc.

Got the girls again tomorrow all day. Planned to do a roast tomorrow so got my beef cooking in slow cooker tonight. Prepared all the vegetables ready and made yorkshire pudding mix so hopefully manage to get in the oven tomorrow if Sophie not to demanding lol.

I am lucky as we have a play park over the other side of the road from us where I take them on the slide and swings. Lovely to have on the doorstep and not to travel to far.

We went to Hunstanton on Sunday to a Kite and Classic car show. Was a lovely warm day. Was able to park right near the arena bit where the kite demonstration was going on. Didn't have too far to go to the Classic Car bit also. Took our lunch with us and left about four o clock. We was going to the beach but couldn't get parked up anywhere so many people out with the warm weather. We decided to go to Sandringham on the way home and had a restful time in the wooded bit. Stewart also cooked our tea. We had a nice leisurely walk and ame home when some of the traffic had calmed down.

Been busy today sorting out before Molly and Sophie come tomorrow.

Have been sanding down a wooden bench that was Stewart's mum and dads. Now she is in a home and her house been sold stewart didn't want to part with it so been sorting it out. Got it all rubbed down and treated twice with some wood treatment and looks lovely now in the garden. Will probably stain it as well a deeper colour.

Will be ready for my bed tonight lol!

    Take care everyone else.

    Love Tess x x
