Hibiscrub

This will be a revision hip surgery. Previously I used hibiscrub pre surgery. Is the nhs not giving this now pre op. I've bought some but it says on the instructions let your doctor know if you've used it. My friend who went to a private hospital usedi it so I'm wondering if his is an NHS cutback. Scared to use it before my op now.

I hope someone can help.

    i didnt need to use it, it wont be a cutback but a change in practice. maybe our own skin flora protects from infection.

    I was never given it, perhaps they have some super antiseptic stuff they use during the op as maybe some people did not bother to use the hibiscrub as they were requested.
