High blood Pressure with vertigo

Does anyone get high blood pressure with vertigo?  My blood pressure is usually normal but now with vertigo all of a sudden it seems to go way up or maybe it's the B vitamins I started?  That's the only new thing I started was the B vitamins last week.  I have had vertigo since March but the high blood pressure is new.  I have a blood pressure tester at home.   sad  cry

Just looked up vertigo on NHS choices website, it mentions The Epley manoeuvre and also something called Brandt-Daroff exercises, it states that your GP will need to teach you how to do the exercises and that you repeat them three or four times a day for two days in a row. Your symptoms may improve for up to two weeks.

Not sure if this is relevant but if helps with vertigo and therefore the anxiety and stress caused by it, it may well help the high blood pressure as both these things are again known to lead to it being raised.

Awe you are dear!  It is getting better actually.  I performed those excercises as the doctor in emergency gave us the website in March.  My husbsnd helps me.  I was throwing up st the time.  My blood pressure went right down to normal today.  I was freaked out but I guess the BP elevation happens every morning cause mornings are bad for nausea.  Thank you biggrin

I have high BP which was high as 250/140 this was controlled but little did I know that I had vertigo (bppv) and gerd. I was now and then in A&E department for dizziness and shortness of breath. One cardiologist discovered the problem of vertigo when he told me to lie on the left and I told him I don't because I feel dizzy. He sent me for audiology test and pap I was diagnosed with vertigo (bppv). I thought my problems were over but shortness of breath didn't disappear and in fact it worsened and at one time I was being treated for heart attack. At long last one physician diagnosed it and discovered h pylori. The gerd continued to get worse only to note that amlodipine which I was taking for bp was actually worsening the situation. I was put on zebeta but this brings my pulse too low so it had to be discontinued and now am back to my physician to see what other concoction he will give me. That has taken me a whole year so don't give up there is always a solution at the end of the tunnel and trust in God
