Hip Compression Socks

Who knows anything about all this...My dr mentioned me having to wear them for a couple of weeks..yuck ..I should have asked my dr but how many pairs should I get and wondered about getting a prescription for them

    Hi there I didn't have to wear these just some sort of compression teddies for a few hours and from then on was taught how to inject blood

    thinning injections into tummy once a day for

    five weeks not as bad as it sounds every thing

    fine.👍 🙌 🎄

    These are a medical form of torture - but you have to have them .... well most of us do!    Also in my website, they are known as TEDs -  thromboembolism-deterrent socks.

      Did you see the comment that one girl left...put plastic over your foot and leg so it will slide on more easily...I have people saving bread wrappers for mesmile

      You can just use the plastic packet that they come in. (I didn't have to do any injections into my stomach. Seems to be the socks or the injections.)

    Hi Yes they are horriable but very much needed .I woke up after op with them on .Nurse use the plastic bag trick it is very handy .my wife put them on the same way using a night base cream first . After the six weeks they realy do become bothersom .the swelling was a big isue with me ,so the nurse kept a close eye on me night and day,I think the cream my wife used was a great help with the itching etc do wear them good luck
