I've just logged in to post about my hip and lower back being so sore!! And I see this discussion- I'm six weeks post op today and see consultant next Tuesday- I've done everything I've been told but last few days I'm so sore in my lower back and groin - I'm feeling disheartened but from reading here hopefully it's just another stage of recovery?

      Hi

Everyone recovers at a different pace the best advice I can give you is not to compare your progress with others.  I’m now 15 months on and life is great so just aim for that light at the end of the tunnel but not too fast! Take the painkillers they really help keep you moving lots of walking and those flipping exercises!   You will have good and bad days but trust me it gets better

Yes its strange how things feel after 6 weeks today is better than yesterday but still very sore, the healing process is bound to take a while all the muscles been pulled apart. But you always wonder should it be like this and am I doing the right things.
