OMG!  I don't even know how to begin.  You can never let your guard down. I didn't and it still happened in front  me.  A few nights ago, just as I was getting into bed, I felt a burning in my lower regions.  I looked with a mirror and saw that I had a split about one and a half inches long  between the labia minora and the labia majora, I applied Betaderm cream and in the morning I was fine. For a day, I didn't put anything on it and when I looked one side was completely fused.  So Fast!   So I started with coconut oil again and today it is not fused. However I just looked again.  It is so hard because I can not see clearly at such a distance and my mirror is 10x but it blurs when it is far away. It looked like a small hole was at the clitorus which was the first place to fuse and never came back.  I am rather nervous at the events these last few days.  When I was at my doctors in April in my home town (not where I live) I asked her to make an appointment at the vulvar clinic and she said it would take maybe six months.  I haven't heard anything yet.

    A word of warning here,

I've just looked at my tube of Clob which I've been using for 6 months and read "discard after 3 months once opened"

Will be phoning the doctor as soon as I get off the e-mail!

so sorry sheila and thanks for the cautionary tale.

Have you had a recent shock may I ask? Some bad news, stress or some other factor? May I ask what you've been eating? Has there been some kind of change in your nutrition? What do you think caused this deterioration?     I think its absolutely FAB that the coconut oil unfused you...am really impressed. Will continue to keep this blessed oil always to hand. I am so grateful for this gift of nature.

The small hole you mention at your clitoris...can you talk a bit more about that? Is this a degradation of your tissue...? a puncture wound...? what do you think is going on?

If this deterioration or even fusing that you can't undo with coconut oil continues...tho that seems to work unfailingly according to others.... don't hestitate to take yourself to casualty...so you can be unfused under a local anaesthetic especially if there is any urethral involvement.

    thinking of you .

    with much love from liz

You will get through this   xx

Dear lizzie, just wanted to say that I saw a gynae on the nhs a few days ago and was told that I cannot be infused, and what is gone is gone!   This left me in tears and so depressed, but now I know!    Jackiexxxxxxx

Please go and look at the thread on this website called 'an experiment with borax' I'm not sure that I can post links but i'll try in a second post below. Many of us have had very good results and after having lost most of my anatomy through LS, am now seeing it return. It's very slow, but happening and I have photos to prove it. I last needed steroid in feb last year and the gynay I saw on the NHS a few weeks ago said I was stable and didn't really need to see them again. (I didn't tell them I was going 'off piste' with treatment, and insisted that I stay on the register for regular checks). We are all different, and different things work for different people, but it does seem to have good results for everyone that's tried it so far. Don't despair. Others have had good results with baking soda rinses, there's a wealth of support and advice on here. You are not alone.

Really, really important not to confuse Borax with Boric Acid which is a totally different chemical substance and toxic. Read the thread all the way through for advice and directions.
