Having anxiety does not mean you are perimenopausal. You could have 65 out of 66 (or however many symptoms there are now) of the perimenopause symptoms and still not be perimenopausal. You're not technically perimenopausal until your cycle has changed by at least 7 days, either shorter or longer. Typically, cycles shorten at first and once you skip a cycle (go at least 60 days, not 40 or 45 or 50, etc.....but 60 days w/o a cycle) then you are in late perimenopause.
