How do you sleep ?

Dear All,
I have just been diagnosed with acute vertigo, yuck! Anyway the reason for the post is this....
as some of you are aware I purchased a cervical pillow a few weeks ago and have had some good results with it, I am loathe to recommend it as it may not work for everyone. However, the GP told me to sleep with my pillows higher than usual to help the vertigo, this I have been doing until last night, I can honestly say getting up in the mornings has been awful since using two pillows. It's definitely back to my cervical pillow from now on.
Take Care

I also have vertigo when sleeping in some positions....I know how awful it is when you move the wrong way and go into that spin...... :x
I have tried MANY pillows over the last 5 years since the vertigo started. The one i have found to be the best EVER is my wonderful Water pillow!!!! It has a water chamber underneath the pillow part which i can adjust to the right amount of water for my neck. When i lay down, i mould the pillow into the curve of my neck. I honestly find it the best. I rarely wake up with the dizzies or stiffness these days.... :D
I will try to see if i can find a link to one so you can see what i mean. Im in Australia, so i don't know if they are available everywhere. My pillow cost $80.00 Aust. dollars.
I really hope you find something that works for you soon!!! Sleep is sooooo important for our total wellbeing!!!
Sending you *HUGS*

Sorry to hear about the vertigo .......... Jassy's pillow does sound interesting doesn't it?
I'd be interested to hear how you get on if you do go for it ............ ssssh, don't tell my other 'arf though, if he thinks I might be going for yet [i:a8cb0c6284][b:a8cb0c6284]another [/b:a8cb0c6284][/i:a8cb0c6284]pillow ..........
I'm quite happy with my Tempur Queen, with a very thin, flat pillow underneath, it is just the perfect height ........... but still ........... this water one could be [i:a8cb0c6284][b:a8cb0c6284]THE ONE[/b:a8cb0c6284][/i:a8cb0c6284]............
Best of luck with beating the vertigo, hope it goes soon .

Not a silly question at all..... I was asking the same thing...I was worried about hearing water sloshing and needed to get up to go wee's all night long..... :yikes: With my pillow, there is a super sealed hole up one end of the water chamber where you fill it up with the water....I hold my pillow up vertically, fill it up to desired amount (sometimes i have to add more or take some out) The key to no sloshing is to get out ALL the air bubbles before you screw the seal back in!!!!! It's not always easy to get all the air out, but i usually get my 18 yr old daughter to hold the pillow while i smooth the bubbles up to the top until the water is up to the brim...then i know i have no bubbles left..... :ok:
My pillow actually came with instruction about this issue, so i'm sure if you get one, it will too.....
Let me know if you get one and how it goes, Em...... :D

Of course...I'll share.....I get the pillow and you get to keep all the lovely packaging! :gift:
It's getting like \"Raiders of the Lost Amazon Sites\" here (did you spot the Harrison Ford reference?). The quest for the Holy Pillow of Spondylosis has assumed biblical proportions!
By the way, when it comes to blondes, I have to say that, considering my age and all that, I used to really fancy the blonde one in Abba.........................just can't remember his name!!!!!!!!!!! :fairy: !!!!!!!!!!!!. Only kidding, of course.I've never been confused!

You crack me up, Gerry....(do you use that term in sunny ol' England???)
My hubby still tells me he only married me because of my blonde hair and that it resembled Agnetha from ABBA (who he is secretly in love with) :wings:
Me thinks that Aunty Em wouldn't be happy with just the packaging to sleep on..... :gift:
I think I should get profit for telling you all about the water pillows..... :wow: (kidding)...
