HOW I CURED MY BV!

Hello ladies ! There are many women who suffer from the horrible condition known as BV. I struggled with it for about 3-4 months now and I finally found my cure and I think this will work for a lot of ladies which is why I want to share it all with you ! This is something I came up with myself and it worked ! When I was first diagnosed with it I was prescribed Flagyl and it came right back when I stopped taking the medicine and I got a nasty yeast infection from it. I tried apple cider vinegar and the yogurt tampon thingy, and hydrogen peroxide. It all just worked temporarily. I could still smell the fishy smell after sex, and I still had really watery and annoying discharge. I didn't know what else to do and being around people became such a burden and i was so imbarrassed because of the smell. cry

So finally I looked into the supplements and I went to Walmart and bought two small bottles of acidophilus for about 10-12$. It was 1 billion active cultures each pill. I kept taking the pill orally everyday. Some days I would take like 6 pills.(after i realized women were taking other pills with 10 billion active cultures !)

IT STILL WASNT WORKING ENOUGH FOR ME ! I COULD STILL SMELL THE FISHY SMELL LINGERING SO I THOUGHT WELL HOW ABOUT THIS!

I took 1 DOUCHE CONTAINER

3-4 ACIDOPHILUS PILLS CRUSHED INTO POWDER

I dumped the powder into the empty douche container carefully (might want to make a small cone so you wont make a mess pouring it in container) and then I added lukewarm/cold water (not hot ! this will kill the good bacteria ). I kept swirling it around to activate the cultures. I sat on the toilet and squirted all those little buggers in there. I held in the liquid as long as I could(3-5 mins) with my vaginal muscles and pinching my lips around the nozzle so the liquid wouldnt just all fall out as soon as being in there.

I did this for 2-3 days and one day after having sex with my boyfriend we noticed the smell was completely gone eek ! I havent had a smell or any watery discharge in a week so far and I am so happy my last attempt worked!

I would still take some orally just to kind of work the insides of the body even more plus its good for your immune system. Another thing I think helped a lot is DRINKING LOTS OF WATER! I hate water but my body health was way more important !

This is all I did and now I am BV free. I now also drink lots of fruit juices now. REAL FRUIT JUICES with vitamins! not the ones with just sugar and corn starch. Ladies try it and  see how it goes. cheesygrin

    Hi Lia44027,

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm sure you have helped a lot of women suffering from this. I do have a question concerning the probiotic pill. You said you used 3-4 pills. How many CFU's did you have in one pill. Mine have 20 Billion CFU's in one pill so should I just use one.

This works like magic!!!! I’ve been suffering on and off for about a year now!! I’m HUGE on hygiene and just couldn’t understand what was going on. Every time it was getting under control my period came around and I was back at square one. This last month was the worst by far. I felt so hopeless. Yesterday evening I came across this discussion  and I literally jumped in my car at that moment and drove to the nearest Walmart. I purchased the Equate brand douche (you’re emptying them out so no need to splurge on the “fancy” ines) & purchased the acidophilus.

I followed the exact instructions!! Emptied out the douche,  crushed 4 pills inserted them in the douche and added lukewarm water. The original poster said she did hers sitting on the toilet. I chose to do mine in the shower. I shook up the bottle extremely well and began to douche. I held it as long as I could. I repeated this about 3/4 times until all the liquid was gone.

Instantly the smell was gone and I’ve had absolutely NOOOOO discharge in the past twelve hours since I did the douche.. I was extremely skeptical and although I’m still not sure if it’ll last long term this alone has given me more relief than anything else in the past year.

Hey Jeanette, I have a question.. I've been having reoccurring bv for the past 3yrs... I was wondering did you just only try the method to get rid of the "current bv"... Or will you continue the method as a preventative..except may douce with the acidophilus once a week? I currently don't have bv but did about 2wks ago and the er gave me some antibiotic called tinzidole (something like that) anyways I guess my question is do you think this would be a good preventative?

I've heard that it re-occurs after the antibiotic treatment. I did the method suggested above using 4 capsules initially and continuing like once every 3 months. Haven't had a recurrence since.

Hi Melissa! A month in and all was going absolutely great until I got sick. I used it two times initially. The day I posted and the day after. I was absolutely ok. No smell no discharge, nothing! Just last week I ended up at the ER with pneumonia and they gave me a shot of antibiotics... antibiotics kills off the good and bad bacteria and your body which then throws off your ph. So of course my Bv came back. But again I’ve douched twice and everything is fine. I have irregular periods and I’ve yet to have one since I started treatment so I’m not sure that it will return with my period. Which is the only reason I can see myself using it again because those two times have been more than enough.

Also I’ve heard your partners sperm can contribute to the issue... a lot of women say after unprotected sex issues arise..

Has anyone tried the doucheing method as a preventative?

I have, and ever so often I do it....like after my period sometimes. As soon as I think it's a little off, I do it, which happens to be around every 3 months or so. It has never occurred again since I first did this last August.

Yes Melissa, I have. I bought the Summers Eve douche set. Emptied the contents and rinsed the bottle thoroughly. Then I poured a little water so the contents of the capsules didn't stick to the bottom, then filled the bottle. The first time, I used 4 capsules cause I was desperate...and it worked from the first day, but I did this for 3 days. I did it the next month, and no I do it like once every 3 months just to keep things balanced. The capsules I use are the Renew Life Vaginal Support (pink bottle).

Ok ty. I just literally just got done soaking in the apple cider vinegar bath...just doing it as a preventative. Plus my bf will be over so I'm sure things will get kinda heated..lol but I'll probably do another one 2mrw and then this weekend go get the acidophilus..but also has to have the other strains right? Like rh and L something?
