How long to wait to sex after outbreak?

I had my first outbreak Monday it was on my higher up butt crack are. Was very mild and had crusted and scabs had fallen off from me showering by Thursday. My doctor popped the pimples to take a culture. Now today it just looks like some old pimples scabs. I've been taking anti vitals since Tuesday . I'm just wondering when is it okay to have sex again or oral sex again?

None of this information is correct according to my doctor when I was diagnosed during my first pregnancy. I was with only the father however we had been separated for the better part of a year or longer when I got my first outbreak. I asked him if there is a way to know whom I had gotten it from and he told me that it is like finding a needle in a haystack. He said I could have contacted it years prior and not known being as many people, actually more than not have no symptoms or outbreaks for a very long time of any kind up to their first outbreak. So I could have had it for a long time or from my most recent partner. That means the same for anyone and also means that ANYONE can and could get infected, whether you have symptoms or not. I am married now so to be on the safe I try to abstainfrom sex until completely in the healed and safe zone. If he insists then we use condoms which isn't often.
