Hi everyone,
I'm going in for my THR on Friday after they had a cancellation, so three weeks earlier than my original pre-op date. I have tickets to see ELO on the Monday night after the operation so I'm trying to get a handle on whether you think I'm going to make the concert?

I would say don't risk it as your leg after your hip op will feel like it has "turn to stone" and don't let any "evil woman" tell you otherwise. why don't you ask a "sweet talking woman" to call the "telephone line" and if there's any "confusion" just explain the situation and you never know "out of the blue" you might get a refund.
Sorry about that couldn't resist, but seriously I went in for a LTHR posterior approach on the Thursday came out on the Sunday night and no way I could have gone to a concert the next day, it's a major operation and you have to be so carefull post op, you could get pushed over or anything risking dislocation I wouldn't risk it.
But good look anyway with your op, hope all goes well.
