i feel your pain, I'm new to fibromyalgia and I find symptoms adding up on a daily basis, my newest one is lack of co-ordination. I'm bumping into things left right and centre and that fact that I'm already in pain just makes it worse, I'm black and blue from all my collisions.
i can't tell you if it gets better or worse, as I don't know this myself, but I'm sure now that you have found this forum there will be plenty of advice for you.
im sorry I couldn't help you but I'm sending a hug your way, to help in the only way I can xxx

you have to rest up for awhile then start again ,and pace your self do a little each day. dont listen to others . i know its frustrating but the harder you push yourself the worst your get.
just be very thankful which i am sure you are that you have a careing daughter and husband . many of us on here havent anybody .that dosent mean its any less frustrating or painful .i know . but take solace that you have people around you that care. tian x

I am new to this as well so I don't have any advice but I will say it seems that there is quite a lot of people struggling with FM so hopefully someone somewhere is in a lab trying to find a cure or at least something that will help

I think the weight problem is the distance lifting from your body & whether above the shoulder and the number of repetitions you do. I can often do things once maybe twice but hitting the 3rd time immediately (no way).
If you have developed Fibro recently it might be worth you doing as the professionals often recommending and completely resting. It might take you upto 2 years they say (I know sounds like forever). However if you do it you might fully recover. That would defenantly be worth it - big time! I'm a long time sufferer who didn't rest cos I was dignosed 20 years after I developed it. They have told me it won't go completely now I've had it too long.
If I could reverse time and rest tons from when I first developed it - 2 even 3 years would be nothing on my now 22yrs.
Good Luck

It is the most frustrated I have ever felt and bearing in mind that I have broken bones in my back twice before and had to go through the recovery phase.
The difference this time is that I have little in the way of goals at the minute as all I hear is that there is no cure. Maybe after the CBT course I will have a better understanding and be in a position to re-focus.
