How to reduce skin redness left after sebaceous cyst removal from penis?

Hello,
about 3 months ago I had a sebaceous cyst removed from my penis shaft. After the stitches fell off the skin looked pretty flat, as it still looks but it's darker than the surrounding skin. Will it eventually bleach out or is there anything I should do about it?
Thank you!

I'd imagine the colour will fade. If it's raised, then it could be keloid scarring. I had that after having my appendix removed, and the redness eventually went away, but it took several years. How big was the cyst, and how many stitches were there?
These links talk about keloid scarring:

Small cyst on the underside of the shaft.
Had internal and external stitches.
Everything went well, and I was worried the whole time during the healing process. The cyst wasn’t that noticeable expect to me, and I was worried I had traded that for scaring etc.
But I can’t see any scaring now. It will take a few months but eventually it should be barely noticeable if at all.
I was trying everything to try and get the scar to go away, massaging the scar line, bio oil, but I think it just went away on its own over time.
