Had op this afternoon. All ok. Feeling bit sick and have headache, but glad it's over!! Staff fantastic!

    Well done Abby and welcome to Hippie land.

    The aenesthetic can make you feel sick which should soon pass. Morphine can also make you feel sick and they should give you anti-sickness med for that.

    Take care, rest and drink plenty of fluids, pain meds when you need them and they will soon have you up and about.

    I had my 6 week check up today for my second hip op this year and all good.

    So tomorrow you will start on your road to recovery and your life will be be so much better.

    Looking forward to hearing how you are getting on.

      Oh yes I remember that too! If its too bad ask for an anti-histamine - it does help.

      Thanks Shirley. I feel great at the moment, but I guess the stiffness etc will kick in when I get up. Physio coming mid-morning🏃! X

      Thanks mic! I'll get the nurse to sort the mince pies and wine when she comes in! Phew - feels so good to be on this side! Feel ok this morning though still have headache Nd v itchy from the morphine. Thanks again
