Hi Barbara, I see a lot of people are trying to give you advice which I am sure is not only confusing you but scaring yo. What a lot of them are forgetting you haven't been formally diagnosed as yet, so go with your own heart and do what you feel right for you, that is all I can say. You've had advice overload from what I can see from the answers to your question. Again good luck and be strong, and whatever happens it isn't the end of the world.

Well as far as the testing  goes  i  have the  medisana one from  MeditTouch and the  instructions are as  clear  as mud  even my husband  cant understand them and he  is normally  good  at reading  instructions  so i guess i will have to  wait until the  nurse shows me  what to do

Fantastic news and all that worry for nothing!

Great result.  Were you eating your normal diet or were you going low carb?

No  i never  changed my diet  did not do a low carb  diet as the  docotr  said she wanted me to  eat normally  as i always  do to see the  results so  looks like i am not  diabetic no  further action needed she  said  I now have a huge  black and  blue  arm  lol  but suppose  thats nothing  to moan  about

Don't be afraid. Have the fasting test. Even if you do have type two diabetes, there are many things you can do. You might just need to watch what you eat from now on. If you do need medication, you will be trained how to take care of yourself.
