I have been viewing this forum for the last year and a half. My symptoms gradually started at 41 off and on, now at 43 it’s everyday. My primary doctor wanted to put me on anxiety meds, but I was too afraid of the side effects. I opted to go with natural remedies, but even theses have to be taken everyday to calm they nerves

. My symptoms are anxiety, insomnia, palpitations, night sweats, cold chills, headaches, dizziness, blurry vision ( I don’t even know if this is a symptom), extreme lack of libido, etc. I hate with a passion the anxiety and palpitations, because I honestly feel like I am dying. I am truly disappointed no one has created something that doesn’t cause cancer to help us. My next mission is to discuss progesterone with my doctor. I must say, I am beyond happy that I can share my symptoms, and know others are going through the same. I really feel like I am losing it.

      Hi

I know where your coming from. Everyday is full of unpredictable symptoms. Progesterone did not work for me but I have no uterus due to fibroids at 40 so now trying this dhea and my digestive systems is not the best. It is literally hell. Do u work. I can't work because this is so debilitating

Hi Eleanora. Sorry to hear the cream didn’t work. I am truly on a roller coaster ride right now. Each day presents more unexpected and debilitating symptoms. I work and the last two weeks have presented new issues, headaches, memory (scary), lightheaded, weak feeling in my legs and arm, and fogginess.  Now my thyroid has decided it wants to make this journey even more exciting. So I dealing with peri symptoms and thyroid symptoms. I think I feel a little relief maybe one to three days, which I owe to my herbal treatments. I am beyond burnt out with this, and want to feel normal (whatever that is) again. I visited my gyno this week which she says is possible I am peri, but due to the thyroid issue, it may throw everything else off. I see my endocrinologist next week...sigh.

Hi Eleanora i know what you mean. In my case, ive been waking up to the same symptoms for months... yes they changes but not daily. The same ones usually stay for months at s time. Heart palpitations seem to be the regular with the rest changing. I have digestive issues too. What problems are you having with your digestive?

      Hi Mary

Sometimes when I eat I feel the food going down lump by lump or after a meal I feel like a piece of meat stuck there just above the belly button in the stomache area. Feeling can last for a while. Also after eating hard to burp. Nausea and bloating. A weird symptom I have is flushing on the soles of my feet.

      HI Eleanor’s,

I have exactly those horrible gastric symptoms like food is getting sort of stuck even though it isnt

Hi all. Is it normal to be waking up some mornings being sick and also a feeling of nausea through the day? Some people just say maybe I'm pregnant but have had this one and off for a year so that's a record breaking time for a pregnancy.... Lol just want to know if anyone else has that problem.

      Hi Tanya

I’ve been waking up like this = nauseous and in stomach pain almost every single morning since 7 months now...... horrid

    • Edited

Yes and as you said it is the same kind of horrible nausea I had many years ago when I was pregnant but it stays through the whole days and makes it impossible to function

Hi. Yes is driving me mad, sometimes I just have to actually be sick to allow the feeling to ease a bit. Also getting the feeling that my food isn't managing to get all the way down to where it's meant to go, is so weird

Hi i have the same problem. Sometimes having in ng breaky in the morn first bite of toast goes down very slowly like in clumps and I feel every little bit that goes down

Sometimes a bit painful. Even eggs or steak. Terrible

I usually can only eat Yoghourt and milk for same reason.  I had a tiny tiny piece of toast.  It was also horrible.  It feels uncomfortable and made me feeling dizzy and weak.  Don’t know whether it’s ‘normal’.  But I guess we are not the only ones .

      Hi

Yes I get that too. Feeling weak as food sits in my stomache. It feels like a lump on top of my bellybutton which is just there at the end of my stomache

Hi and yes it drives me also mad.  I’ve never been good at making myself get sick.   Does it help ??? Do you feel better after?  .... sorry .... does anything come out when you get sick?  Or I would it be enough to just try choking ... do you think ?  .... sorry 😐.... I know that sounds awful but I’m just desperate to stop the sick feeling

I feel nauseous especially during my period ....a mild heartburn sometimes

Have you noticed excessive saliva after eating?

      I have this, too

Oh my goodness.  So glad I read this.  I don’t get weak but I do get that feeling of a lump sitting on my belly button.  Thankful I’m not the only one!

Hi. It sounds awful, but sometimes my morning coffee will come back up and other times it's just enough to choke and that eases it. I also try just taking deep breaths. It is a horrible feeling, seem to be getting it more and more. Are you suffering with it alot then?

Hi. Yes sounds like me, I do get more saliva after eating. Also sometimes I can feel really hungry and other times it's like I'm full before I've even eaten.. Weird.

Hi. Nice to hear it's normal. Slowly think I'm losing my mind with all of it. Even have started walking off without things, like today I brought some shopping paid and started walking off without it the man at the till had to call me back!

      Poor Tanya,

I’ve done similar things.... I think the pain/nausea/horrible feeling is so bad that it kind of  totally ‘occupies’ your brain.  So it’s easy to quickly forget to do some things, like duty to pay etc.  I sometimes miss a turning on a roundabout where I’ve been driving since 27 years.

      Yes Tanya,

I sadly have it a lot.  I was ill 3 years.  It took them that long to find out that it was not my sinus, not my lungs, not my heart but my Stomach.  Then I recovered and was super fit and happy for 2 years.  I gained my weight back.  It was a Dream!!  I went back to skiing, sailing, walking 15 miles on weekend.  I thought it was gone for good.  Wrong !! In October 2017 it came back with a vengeance.  I’ve lost again 2 stone.
