Hi all. Sorry if it seems I'm constantly on here moaning just nobody else I can talk to who understands. Just an extra bad day today, feel like every joint in my body aches and my hips feel like they are trying to rip away from me, I couldn't get to sleep last night for ages even though I was tired and struggled to get up this morning just so tired. I feel like I'm just getting one flu bug after another, even get earache occasionally. Do worry sometimes that the doctor has missed something and I'm really ill. Can't see how this is normal. Sorry for moaning! Just not having a good day and got alot of the day to come so hasn't started promising.

I really feel for u. It sounds like me. I've been to so many doctors and they say it's not menopause but it is. I too slept nothing all nite and felt crap until the afternoon. I am 59 and have been with this since 51. Hell

Hi. It is like hell. I just wish the doctor would give me a proper diagnosis but instead I think everyone just thinks I'm overreacting or something and because I'm only 32 I'm not being taken seriously enough. The doctor just says about the pill but the pill has never affected me before so can't see why it would now. Just feel like I'm meant to accept feeling like this all the time as though it's normal, when surely there must be help available.

Hi Tanya, I think we spoke before but not sure because I have spoken to so many people. HaveI you tried changing your pill? I say this because at 32 I was getting symptoms and I came off the pill I was on and well I went down hill gradually from there on. I am turning 36 this month and I have had every test known to man practically and nothing shows up but I know that coming off birth control made me worse. Now I have tried 2 more bc pills since but the first I didnt give long enough and the 2nd I took for 4 months but I broke out in hibes shortly a month after starting it. I continued taking it cos my doctors said I couldnt be allergic to it. Anyway I went to a skin specialist after 3 months of hives and they said I absolutely could be reacting to it. I've been iff it now 3 weeks and ive had a few hives since but nothing like before. I'm still not 100% certain its the pill but doctor said it may take a month or 2to clear so I'm patiently waiting. My legs are destroyed in marks so I can't wear shorts or skirts in the sun. I go back to other doctor at end of month to ask to try something else. Its soul destroying cos doctors wabt to make out your a hypochondriac. It's so hard to be heard. Lady at work says her menopause lasted 7 years. I've 4 done maybe more. I think my gp wont believe me until it shows in my blood results. Its horrible. I feel for us all. Been labelled with anxiety now which I do have as a result of not being heard or understood or believed.

Hi no we haven't spoken before but it's lovely to hear from you. Yes the doctor has changed my pill but does not seem to of helped anything I'm still struggling with everything. The doctor said about changing it again but I don't feel that it is helping. I know that I am young for the perimenopause but I do feel that that's all it could be when i have had so many other tests and they are saying nothing is showing up. Yet this is not normal, surely.

Hi. It's so nice to get the chance to talk to someone who is suffering the same, makes me feel that maybe I'm not going crazy after all. Sometimes just walking my kids home from school seems to drain all my energy and makes me so achy. Yes being allowed to talk to you all on here is such a help, just what I need. I really hope that you find some relief or get some help.

Hi Mary. It's been about 12 months now, I'm just wishing I could get some help feel like I'm going mad. Yes my legs feel like they are going to give in and it's such an effort to get up if I have to crouch down. I do get the hot flushes and a nice red face at the same time! Not a good look lol 😂 how old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Hi. Yes sometimes feel like people will get fed up of me moaning thinking I must be making it up. No all the doctor has tried is changing my pill to a more cleaner and I think lower dose of progesterone, I had already been put on a higher dose of estrogen but not sure of the reason for that. My doctor doesn't seem to want to do anything else so am left with no help.

Have you ever had a MRI "with contrast" where they put dye in your vein? What about flu shots? Both of those can cause big problems like the ones you describe.

I had major issues after having the flu shot.... it certainly can cause a lot of issues 😦

The Shingles shot isn't a cake walk either but they say it's better than the alternative.
