Hi all. My doctor said about trying evening primrose oil or another one which was vitamin something but I've forgotten! But I'm an awkward person and have difficulty swallowing tablets, the biggest size I can manage is the small round ibroupfen that you can buy in supermarkets. And the size of the capsules for the evening primrose oil are way to big. Does anyone know of something I could take or if they do that in a liquid form or smaller tablets?

    Hi, Kim!

My name is Nancy, and your post reads almost exactly as my 1st one would. I thought I was losing my mind! SO glad to know I'm not alone ? I even vomit occaisionally.

Seeing my OB this month to discuss treatment options. Please let me know how things are going for you.

OH Nancy so sorry to hear how terribly you are suffering.  But as you said : you’re not alone.  Once the stomach gets involved everything usually feels very nasty.  The Vagus Nerve gets disturbed and causes all these symptoms including the nausea and vomiting together with this sinister tiredness.   Don’t give up  .... one day this will go away .... for you and all of us

Hi Kim I too suffered from upset stomach, feeling sick ,bloating, excess flatulence a,headaches, feeling hot and just ill like I had a virus (as work in a pre school with illnesses going around constantly) I was getting like this every few week's for about 7 months ,even had a poo test the doctors as thought I had an ongoing virus but then it suddenly stopped so still don't know what it was but after joining this site I realised it could be peri menopause.

This is so unfair .... I feel the same.  Sometimes I wake up and I have a reasonably bearable day.  I then work like crazy trying to get so many things done .... sometimes until 2.00 at night as I’m worried about the next day(s) ... in case I’m too ill to get all the things done that need doing.  I also feel terribly tired flu like plus the stomach problems.

I feel so sorry for you ..... feeling nauseated is the worst.  I had that weeks ago and now I have ‘only’ the stomach pain and am unable to eat properly.   How long have you been suffering with the nausea ??  Do you have it all the time every day ??

I had exactly the same thing.  Then it went away and I felt great for almost 2 years.  Then it came back which made me even more upset.
