I am wondering the same thing as i have not felt well and they have ran every test. I turned 50 this year and its been all downhill. Feel sick daily and exhausted, bloated all the time. I had a partial hysterectomy so really don't know if I am in menopause other than getting hot flashes pretty much every day. Doctors do not really say anything about menopause so maybe this forum will help. Hang in there as I am trying to do just that!

Honestly, I had no idea that perimenopause would be this miserable. I started having symptoms at 39 years old, (now 46) but the last 2 years have been unreal. Finding this site and the 66 signs of perimenopause was so helpful, it made me feel like I wasn't losing my mind. I routinely tell women my age with similar symptoms to google the 66 signs because it covers so much. My list includes: nausea, alternating diarrhea/constipation, ovary pain, night sweats, anxiety and panic attacks (which I have never had before), dizziness, exhaustion, urinary urgency/frequency, ridiculous amounts of gas, the list could go on forever. I literally have told other women that some days you feel like you are dying, some days you feel old, some days you feel like you are losing your mind. Oh and now my cholesterol is up out of nowhere despite living a healthy lifestyle, minding my weight, diet, getting lots of exercise. It is mind-boggling what Estrogen controls! Wishing everyone here luck and patience, thank you all for your input and comments, you ladies are my heros!

Not sure if this thread is dead, but I'm new and wanted to chime in. I think I might be in perimenopause, mostly because my cycles have changed and my hormones are all over the map: massive mood swings, chin hair that's impossible to control, etc. But I'm wondering if anyone out there has had skin issues with their hormonal changes? My scalp, face, neck, and chest have this weird tingling, burning/itching and between anxiety and Web MD, I've got myself convinced that it's some terrible underlying disease, because my doctor thinks it's too early for me to be in perimenopause. Has anyone experienced what I just described? I'm really scared and feel totally alone.

      Hi!

I had the same thing happening to me at the very beginning, I would say I was around 44 and lasted off and on for 4 years but it was gone..If you don't mind me asking how old are you?

Yes, I've had this too. Mainly around my face and neck (stinging/burning/tingling), I have also had tingling and pins n needles type in my legs, feet and arms. I have had testing for MS and other neurological issues, and all are clear. I am 44 and going through perimenopause, so must all be part of it. My dr and specialists won't admit it!

you are not early to be in perimenopause..Just try not to stress, the more you do the worst that burning sensation gets special around the chest area! after all these years still freaks me out when it happens!

    Hi MissSugar

I have been living with that burning/prickly feeling over my legs, arms, neck and face for some time now. I even get this numb achy feeling in my leg.. sometimes arm... My gp believes all my issues are related to my hormones being out of wack, but my neuro tells me it is because I have Fibromyalgia??

    So I am very confused...

    Hello Kim74983,

I am so blessed to hear your story. I have experienced some of the same symptoms and have been going back and forth to the doctor for the same issues. I have been told pretty much what you indicated in your post. Since this viral outbreak it seems to have worsened. I wonder if stress anxiety adds to the hormonal changes already present going on in our bodies. Just wondering if you were able to find and products offering some relief. My doctors tend to believe it is coming from my gut. Keep wanting me to go on medication to treat my stomach lining. I feel like you, I just want the nausea, and sickness to stop so we can feel normal again. Wondering if all natural plant based hormone from yams would help somewhat. Not sure if it would make the natural process worse or just help us get through it. Most doctors I have spoken to, tend to tell me to do something to get my mind off of it. They never seem to offer any real solutions to relieve the symptoms. Curious how you are managing.

God bless you Kim, I have been experiencing the same symptoms. Sometimes it can be very scary to feel so bad every day. Strange, I started experiencing these symptoms right about the same time you indicated. My doctor initially thought my blood pressure was the issue and prescribed me to take amlodipine 5mg. Wondering if you have any blood pressure issues as well? My pills make me feel dizzy and weird as well. Found any solutions to help take the edge off the nausea in the morning? These symptoms seem to mimic morning sickness at times. I have experienced panic anxiety attacks as well. Anyone found any solutions, because doctors just seem to say the same things all the time. Anyone know just how long these symptoms will last. Months, years??? Tired of stomach upset, and especially the nausea and panic episodes. Wonder if a plant based hormone from yams might help. Or would it interfere with the natural hormone process Just want something to help feel normal again. Anyone have any suggestions?
