Oh my God! I have that "cricket" sound too, in my left ear. I was diagnosed with TMJ syndrome, which was triggered by the onset of perimenopause. It also causes ringing in the ears.

have you checked your iron? i recently added an iron supplement and shortness of breath is easing. its all so annoying ans scary.

Havent had any tummy issues yet and able to exercise (walking mostly) without the horrible shortness of breath. I drink matcha green tea also every day and that may help prevent constipation that iron can cause. x

    Hi Kim,

I am really struggling with lots of symptoms, I told my doctor that I can't cope anymore. No one seems to understand how awful the symptoms are. I keep waking up in total panic, I have been getting a burning mouth which is horrible, the whole roof of my mouth hurts, and now I keep feeling like I need to burp. I keep getting the chills then the hot flushes. I really feel for you I know exactly how you feel. I worry everyday that I have something serious, my anxiety is so bad. I hate being on my own too. I worry about this burning mouth as it can be so painful. Glad you have had many replies to your post, as it helps knowing that you are not alone x

      Hi Maria,

yes it is a nightmare, I had to go to see a doctor today as I felt so rough, and I keep getting eye pain. I had a proper meltdown as the anxiety about going to a doctors surgery freaked me out, but they was adamant that I had to get it checked out, and said all safety procedures were in place. I just can't seem to cope anymore everything is so overwhelming

      Hi Maria,

thank you for your kind reply, the doctor was nice and checked my eye and said to try using drops, also they want me to go on Antidepressents to help with the anxiety, I just keep crying as I feel so ill. i keep getting panicky as the doctor had to feel around my eye & face so that stresses me out, with all thats going on at the moment, he did wear gloves but it still makes me so anxious as he also had to move my hair out if the way I broke down in there as I feel so bad I said to him now i'm worried about the face mask getting wet but he said its fine
