Sleeping over 12 hours a day and eating junk food is not good for your body or mind. You really need to get your depression and anxiety treated and work on sleeping less and eating right. That should make a difference. Keep meditating. THat will help you and take the Klonopin when you need it.

If you email my reatlor she could advise you of the natural herbs and suppliments to take and perhaps give you advice on what other relaxation techbniques you could use.

Other herbs that ease anxiety are Valerian and Chamomille. I like Valerian the best. No side effects to worry about and all natural.

I agree with most everyone. You have to get to the root of the problem if you ever want to recover from anxiety.. and still even then it a a battle of mind over Mattter and making the conscious choice to not succumb to it. Trust me I know that in the midst of all this you don't feel as if you will be able to handle it all.. I myself am having a lot of anxiety and even have developed a breathing disorder where I'm constantly aware that I'm not getting sufficient air.. if you can't find an acquit doctor or counselor..you tube and other sources are available..there are anxiety and suicide hotlines that have helped me so much.. a lot of qualified people offer help through email..letters or video chat.. there has to be a way for you to get in touch with someone who can help you .. a lot of anxiety is subconscious..things that effect us and hurt us on such a deep level sometimes is unbenonced to us at all.. sometimes our if the middle of no where ananxietyill hit and I have no idea why.. I have resresearcha man named Mr. Litman on you tube and his class is called the relationship between breathing and anxiety..it has helped me more than anything..please keep in contact

Lol..battle for sure! It is so close to feeling like something is really wrong with me that it's hard to believe sometimes it's anxiety.. even not breathing regularly even if your not in full hyperventilation mode is still considered hyperventilating..and that's my main symptom right now. It a unfair that some people can't get the right help.. and my heart goes out to them.. I hope everyone reading this can find the help they need to live a happy fulfilling life.

Do you have a therapist or a counsellor or someone who is trained to help?

    Hi

I'm so sorry you are going through this.  I'm not sure Klonopin is best for anxiety.  I find that Lorazepam (generic of Ativan) made by Watson ... not the Actavis brand ,,, helps me.  I also think you need a good therapist who can sort all this out with you.

There are often physical reasons for such anxiety.  Could be related to thyroid problems etc  I suggest going to to a good MD and getting complete blood test ... if they test (and they should) for thyroid problems make sure they include: TSH, T3, T4, Reverse T3, Reverse T4 and Thyroid Antibodies).

Hang in there and get the support you need.

I think you are absolutely spot on with the fact that other health-related issues could cause anxiety I do suffer with severe anxiety I am 28 year old female I have always been healthy up until about 6 months ago I was diagnosed with extremely low thyroid levels and a blood condition in which I produce too much iron I do find that breathing slow deep breaths through my nose and really trying to stay calm and not busy myself too much during the day is very effective for me I hope to get some answers soon good luck and best wishes to all of you
