To all if you that posted good luck thank you - I am too tired to reply individually this morning but wanted to say your messages were hugely comforting.

To all the pre hippies it will be hard to find anyone more terrified than me in

The early stages, but I can promise you the thought and the wait is FAR worse than the procedure. It was fine every step of the way. Even waking up in recovery listening to Christmas songs on the radio - I actually felt like singing and was so relieved. I have no

    Dear Rose

Yes, youve done it! Really pleased to hear you have had your op. We all have those dreadful anxieties before the op and its such a blessed relief when you wake up in recovery and its over. So welcome newest hippie.

Looking forward to hearing how you are getting on.

    Well done, big hugs

    💐💐 Take care💐💐

The thought of it was the worst bit by far for me. Next time I will practice the teachings of the 'power of Now' which would really help in this situation. Focusing intensely on he moment. It really worked for me yesterday.

Thanks for your post Linnet x

    goodmorning darling,

Well, there you are !!!  you have done it !!! things always happen for a reason - the little delay of this surgery has made you so much stronger ...

I hope you were able to get some uninterrupted hours of sleep - take it easy today - tell us all about  your daughters when you feel like it ...

I slept for a staggering 45 mins in total last night! Not entirely sure why I simply could not sleep at all - wide awake all night long even though I felt too tired even to move or lift a phone. How strange!

Will the pain get worse than this? They have taken me off pain relief already I am not sure I am ready to stop, and am worried - how long were you taking pain relief? X

I didn't sleep at all for 3 days then cat napped for another two days and then slept 6-8 hrs!!!! I had no pain at any time just sore & bruised! Refused all drugs other than paracetamol and anti inflammatory that I was already on! Each day you'll be better. Once the bruising gos down all will be easier!

I agree ...that is a bit soon to take you off pain medication ... I mentioned before that I am a whimp and might have exaggerated my painlevel -

      how is yours ???

this is just your first post-op day .... has the surgeon come to see you already?

Rose, darling, this is all very overwhelming okay .... so keep taking deep breaths - focus and follow your breath -

      you are in good hands

      love
