I have a raised, discolored dry patch of skin on the right side of my scalp. I'm worried it's melano

A few months back I found a tiny dry patch on my scalp. Didnt think anything of it as it doesnt itch or hurt. I noticed it as I was running my fingers through my hair. Now, its changed color and shape a bit. Im worried it can be melanoma related. Ive had one removed from my back before and my grandfather does from that.
