I'm convinced myself I am seriously ill and I don't know what to do

So for the past couple of months I've been having palpitations, my bones ache, my muscles twitch, my neck aches, I feel dizzy, I feel weak and I've googled and googled and I've over and over again convinced myself I am either really ill or dying. I can't sleep at night because I've convinced myself I might not wake back up, the pains feel so real and it scares me so much. I went to the doctor about my palpitations and sore bones and they have prescribed me with anxiety tablets but I'm still convinced it's something else not anxiety! Can anyone relate or help me who knows if this does sound like anxiety??

Jennifer, I am exactly the same...yesterday morn I started feeling week. felt dizzy, and had nausea,my arms and feel were tingling and numb..and i had pain in stomach and chest...normally i would think i was taking a heart attack..but recently i had my heart checked out..and i knew it was anxiety..i keep thinking i'm going to die..that i have cancer somewhere.so YES it def sounds like health anxiety....Ask your DR for blood tests. and an echo for your heart. get a smear test done..anything thats worrying you get checked...if all is clear. then you will be sure its anxiety..my last bloods were all normal..and still i get these pains and dizzy spells...you have to have faith in your DR .when you accept its anxiety..thats playing tricks with your mind..your on the road to recovery...Take care. xxxx

Have you had a blood test recently? You could have anemia, which will cause the heart palpitationsurgery and feeling dizzy. I know this is also a side effect from anxiety but it doesn't hurt to see if you have enough oxygen in your blood to give you energy. I've had anxiety for years and I just felt like being tired all the time couldn't be from my occasional anxiety so I had my blood tested and it turns out I was extremely low on iron, I started vitamins and it helped alot.

Yes I did, I found I am I very deficient in vitamin D and vitamin C. So I'm taking tablets now, which is the reason for my bones constantly hurting and the tiredness, but I do think anxiety cause the heart palpitations and all my other concerns!

Hi, when u say u have muscle twitches how would u explain them and where do u get them?

I ask because I suffer with anxiety too, quite badly and I have twitches all over my body. My limbs don't jerk or anything (well the odd time they do) but the twitches aren't painful just annoying x

I get them mostly on my legs. They will twitch and it happens when I'm in bed. Yes mine are annoying too! I googled so much about them and it was telling me all sorts but I don't think it is anything but anxiety!
