cheesygrin  Wow I am on the other side of this and feeling really really good!!!! The staff here at my hospital couldn't be any better. So kind and accommodating and knowledgable. Surgery went smoothly and I don't recall a thing. I went out quickly.

The pain is not bad at all!!! Seriously I wouldn't lie!!!  I am a new proud member of of the hippie club now!

I cant tell you guys enough how amazing you all have been. You all were so very helpful it's hard to put into words. Everyone seemed to say all of the right things - just what I needed to hear!!!  THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Hugs and love and fairy dust to all of you.

Everything will get a little easier everyday. You'll find ways to overcome the obstacles - then another one will pop up, but you find a way round that one too. Sleeping was the very worst thing for me, on my back sad hated it! It really does get easier every day tho, and time passes so quick! Christmas is still 3 weeks away, by then you will be feeling like a new woman!

Just keep moving, little and often, and if it hurts - stop!

I must confess, I didn't do the physio exercises as they hurt, My thigh muscle was so tight, I just walked and walked and walked.....not recommending that, just saying. Still walking now as much as possible, partly to help my new hip - and partly to prepare for my other one doing.

Oooh and if your mood drops, just roll with it. Spend the day in bed sulking, you'll feel better tomoro 👍🏼

Thanks billiemaw!  You are so correct!  And sleeping on my back is miserable!!!!!!! Gggrrrrrrrr. I rolled onto my side this morning for a couple hours and it felt wonderful!!!!!

You are so right - for me anyway - if I need a sulking day I need to just take it - if I don't I won't get out of it - if I do I will be better the next time round.
