I'm done!!!

Well was much better than I thought!had a general.no pain due to good old morphine but I've been told all being well I will be given normal pain killers Tom. So we shall see!!.have been sitting in a chair. couldnt do much walking today as I have wires coming from 2 places.1 oxygen and other drip.but should come off Tom so will be doing more.i am sooo relieved it's over.am officially a hippie!!!!hope yours has been good hippityhopchris!?xx

    Welcome to the other side!!! Good to hear you are having a good experience of it. 

    Congratulations and let us know how it goes from here. Getting home is soooo good.

      Thank you Linda. I'm okay.bored in hosp though.was gonna come home today but have no chair at home that's okay to use till tuesdayxxx

      Hi binI. Well I thought I was but got out of bed in the night to go to loo and oh boy!!!I was shaking it was so bad.prob from lying in one position for a while.but anyway only really the evenings that seem to get worse.and I'm sure when I get home I will tolerate it more.hope you are fine😊😊xx

      Yes I am good thanks - just been to see a friend in hospital who had a severe brain bleed at the age of 48 so puts things into perspective ! - plus I am sore and worn out from bus and negotiating ramshackle old hospital site with lots of stairs etc - am home and resting for  rest of day now. The evenings do get better , its always difficult in hospital and unless you live in a mansion the loos and things are much further away than they are at home etc - hang on in there xxxxxx

      Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your friend binI. I hope they achieve a full recovery. That's awful.try and keep your spirits up.I'm sure you will be a great help to them when your fully recovered!xxxx

    It seems you are doing very well Sandra, officially a hippy now. It won't be too long before you get home.  I would of quite liked to stay in hospital longer lol

      Thankyou Lynn. It is nice in here.we all chat etc but I think when you are more relaxed In your own home you feel better.might be going today not sure yet though. Hope you are feeling good.xxxx

      Yes,it is more relaxing, you can do things in your own time. I feel great,just got back in from a 61/2 mile walk, looking at the bluebells in the wood, beautiful.
