Ronni!  I am praying for you right now!  From my experience, when weird stuff that the doctors couldn't find answers to and people thought I was crazy have been spiritual attacks.  God is greater and He is good and wants you well!  Lets see if something changes soon!  Keep me posted!

There is also a balance/dizziness center at Mercy Hospital/Medical Center.  Not sure where that may be in relation to where you live in Chicago.

Yes. I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis and my issues began March 23,2014. I am 95%, or so, recovered. I still have issues in some settings of feeling dizzy ( drunk type feeling) and barometric pressure changes cause me issues.

I know your telling Rita this but Yes drunk feeling I always say that is a feeling I have so u know exactly one of my spells

Wherever you go, I would tell them about the head trauma.  Concussion can present with these same symptoms and you do not always feel the results immediately after the trauma.  It can be weeks or months later before you experience issues from concussion.  Not saying that it is not vestibular, just make sure that everything is considered.  I would recommend going to the balance/dizziness center versus wasting time with an ENT or GP.  A Neuro-Otologist specializes in the issues that we are dealing with.

I also think that it is a good sign that 2 of the 3 biopsies were benign.  Pretty good chance that the 3rd one will turn out to be as well.  I would think that if it was ruled inconclusive there was no clear indication of any cancer cells.

I am in the US as well.

I had ear pressure for probably 7 or 8 months.  Never had any pain, my left ear just felt like it was stopped up.  My issues began with rotational vertigo and after that I had tremendous balance issues and a foggy spaced out feeling along with the ear pressure.  I had occasions where I would feel like I was going to pass out and when I went to bed I would feel like I was falling when trying to sleep.  I could not go in stores and driving or riding in a vehicle made me nauseated.  I would have nausea feelings hit me just out of the blue.

Yea I'm hoping that 3rd one is good as well but I still think I'll have to get it removed it has my neck swollen wit a goiter so I go see my endocrinologist on the 16th but all the ways u felt is how I feel everyday omg I never knew so many ppl have these issues its terrible but im happy to talk with someone who understands I'm forever grateful

If you have fluid that may well be what the issue is being caused from.  I can't believe that they didn't have a follow up with you to ensure that it was cleared.  Antibiotics would have helped as well.  A steroid nasal spray, which I am only assuming that you used, will only impact the tissue in the nasal sinuses not always the eustacion tubes.

Highly specialized, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment helps our doctors obtain accurate and precise diagnoses. Mercy is one of only 10 U.S. hospitals offering Balance Quest™ Computerized Dynamic Posturography, a sophisticated balance platform that employs the latest technology to help doctors determine which parts of your balance system are giving you trouble.

Once a disorder is diagnosed, Mercy’s experienced vestibular therapists develop a personalized treatment program. Centered on a regimen of exercises and activities, each treatment plan takes into account the unique needs of the patient and aims to minimize symptoms and improve independence and quality of life."

Let us know how it goes for you.

Thx Terry. Did you do VRT? If so, did it help you? Did you take any meds for ear pressure? Was there anything that relieved it at least temporarily?

I sent you a private message on some of your questions.  It shows that you haven't read it yet.  Did you get a notification on it?

I also took several rounds of a steroid dose pack that I believe eventually eliminated the stopped up feeling in my ear.  Reduce the fluid and the pressure should resolve even though the fluid is not visible upon examination.  Most likely your inner ear nerves are inflamed from fluid or damage.
