I'm new to this situation

Hi , I'm new to this situation but I've been reaserching about general health for almost 5 years , LS in a new symptom for me , I've not been to the doctor and I don't go very often to one , I don't take any prescribed or chemical pills I eat organic and I just read a lot , I first noticed this change 3 years ago , the itching and the skin discolouration , like many I've made food changes and never felt a thing since then so I just forgot all about it as if it was a passing thing , until 3 or 4 months ago the itching and the tearing and the clitoris issue , I've tried so many things in this forum , some gave me relief but nothing was A CURE , I remember an Asian doctor I met years ago telling me about the chemicals in our clothes making us sick and that we just don't realize it because we think that just non-organic food is making us sick , the last thing I tried gave me the relief from the itching and the redness and the discomfort of wearing jeans , it wasn't creams or hormones or anything that I was ingesting or puting on as a cream , I made a reaserch about ingredients in the toilet paper and found that I was allergic to the chemicals in the paper , I automatically stoped the paper and started to use my bidét instead  ever time I went " I'm amazed" , for 2 whole weeks No itching No redness , I can wear my jeans without discomfort , before going to bed I still apply coconut oil  for the skin , but all of this is still new I'll wait for a month and see if anything else improves and will repost more info , some times it's not what we put on that works , many times it's what we stop doing that is the key , allergies can take you far in illnesses  don't discard that , changed also to white and 100% cotton underwear but I stay without anypanties  in the house ( if that is possible for you ) sometimes simplicity is the key !i really hope that you try this even if you LS is advanced you have nothing to loose and you can get cheaper than that  !

Good luck

Thanks, I’ll try the non TP method. I’ve tried everything including olive oil but the wicked itch remains. Below is a list of everything I’ve tried:

    Olive oil

    Coconut oil

    Canola oil and honey

    Castor oil

    Baking soda and peroxide

    Wild yam salve

    Clobestal

Diets-ketogenic, gluten free, carb reduced, dairy free, alcohol free, oxilate

I have only slept one night in the last four without scratching. And I’m guessing I was either super tired or slept through the itching.

Have u tried a strong antihistamine. They help with itching quite a bit. If u take at night it could help with Sleep. Benadryl is one that some ladies try.

Hi , I feel with you , I had to try so many things and fail before I could be ok with my findings  , it's not easy to be a woman today attacks are coming from many places !!

Have you ever investigated " SEPIA"  a homeopatic  remedy  ( It portrayed as the womans magical cure ) I can't yet tell you if it's that great but I love homeopathy , and I'm going to start it with all of my routine , it says that it is the ideal remedy for all of women's hormonal or genital problems because of the iodine content  it's taken from cuttlefish ink and as we all know women's hormones function best when we don't lack iodine  , Here's hopping ! I'll report on this as soon as I see any more changes !

      Best of luck

Hi Mimi, There have been members of this group who have sworn off tp. Some r fortunate to have bidets. Is yours portable or built in. Some buy tp without chlorine or chemicals. Your point is well taken about allergies. Especially in this day and age! Hard to escape. Thx. and give us a progress report. BTW, I never wear underwear for many years, but get concerned about the chemicals in my dresses and skirts that touch my skin. Haven't been able to wear jeans in forever. No slacks at all for 3 years, Not even leggings.

      Hi there !

Yes mine is built in , you know I've tried many things and some I'm not willing to try , like medication with all kids of chemicals , I've found that toilet paper and wet wipes and tampons and pads have one thing in common chemicals and **formaldehyde ** also in clothing that are made in Korea , India and probably in other countries where they have to use it to protect the product until it's destination ,  the thing is that it does not wash out !!!

If this products is released in the air it would cause skin irritation , burning sensation , wheezing etc.. the clitoris is an organ and it's going through not only hormonal changes by the ingestion of chemicals in the wire , the food and if it's in the clothes we wear for sure you'll react to it , on some clothing tags are posted " keep away from flames " means there is formaldehyde in it and other damaging products , I found that hand made soaps , no perfumes no additives and no color help a lot , also the Dr Broners essential oil blend soap that is good for everything from washing clothes , hair , body , hands and great for baby skin  it is also helpful , going to the bidet as often is helping so much , I can't tell you what a relief it is  not to scrash all day , I thought that my skin won't survive this ,

I also take 5 drops of oregano pure oil in a bit of water under my tongue for 3 minutes ( it's absorbed faster in the blood tha way )3 times a day it's an amazing detox and antibiotic cleans the body , also rub on as many times as I can of 1flat tea spoon  of coconut oil with the oregano oil 5 drops , , for me it's working !  I hope it's that simple , I'm doing well so far !

Hi Mimi, I see online that Dr. Bronner has an organic, fragrance free , mild soap for babies. That would be my choice I think. Currently, I am using Cetaphyl, based on Dr. recommendations. I use nothing but spring water for vaginal area. No cleanser at all. I can't even use shower water as it has chlorine, and I just can't tolerate. I use Vanicare lotion on my body, no chemicals at all. That is a line of products developed by The Mayo Clinic for people with chemical sensitivities.I used to have a bidet many years ago. I guess they make a portable. For now, I spray with spring water or a squeeze peri bottle after urination. There is a new baby wipe out called PURE, with no bleach or chemicals. I will look in to getting oregano drops, maybe to ingest. Too frightened to put in vaginal area..Did u ever try any of the steroid creams? I haven't, but wonder if I am making a big mistake. I value your input. Thank you!

      Hi !

I have never tried any steroid creams or anything suggested by doctors , I have nothing against Drs but the systems is to blame , if health wasn't such a profitable industry , I might ,  I try to use as much as it is available natural and homeopatic , I never use wipes  even if my life depended on it , yes the water is full of chemicals and all of us react to one or all of them , that's the difference with all of our health problems , Dr Bronner is a saviour , go for it , it's worth the money , my house is equipped with filtration system and drink only Distiled water ( the whole family ) the oregano oil is very potent with antioxidant and allergies can go soooo far in the body , oregano is going to 1st : clean the body from any kind of infection , 2nd anti inflammatory , and does do much more like the gut flora and a great job of killing human worms ( intestinal parasites and more )

I found that trying one thing at a time helps to decide if it's going well because trying to many things at once will confuse you and the bodies respond to too many things , like I said I'm going to add SEPIA to my routine it's  homeopatic and been reading a while about it , I'm convinced and I'll tell you about the results in some time  if you like , like I said my results might be different than other people because I do not take any prescribed  medication at all , not for cholesterol , blood pressure , never took birth control ( ONE of the main cause sexual organs failures ) etc.. nothing , still what is natural will always be better that man made products .

I hope you feel better soon !

Hi there, Yes,I agree with much of what you say.  I have Multiple chemical sensitivity with multiple food intolerances and so I have to be careful of everything.  I also use a bidet too, and when I have to use toilet roll I use unperfumed toilet paper made from bamboo.  I cant use olive oil as it is high in salicylates which I have a severe reaction to, but I have found castor oil and emu oil to be very good.  I always wash all new clothing before wearing as they are covered in chemicals.

Toothpaste is something you should all be aware of as it is FULL of toxins and if you look online you can find some without those. Body creams need to be looked at carefully, if you can use something like natural cocoa butter you would be far better off.  Never dye your hair as it is probably one of the worst things that you can do to your system..these dyes are FULL of toxic chemicals that will go toward making you unwell.

Keep away from gardens that spray chemicals on their lawns.  All these things are a trigger for people like us with a skin disease.

All good advice. I use Tom's toothpaste for children. I can't use any mint in my mouth. Mouth involvement for years. Probably related.Hard to find toothpaste with no mint. They make this one in Berry and Man go.

Hi, yes I cannot take anything with mint too because it is extremely high in salicylates.

      Hi !

You are so right everything around us is an attack on our bodies but our immune system is there to protect us if we eat clean , the thing is if we start fearing everything then we are actually causing our adrenals to work overtime and that "STRESS" also contributes to more severe reactions from invasion like pesticides and preservatives , we as human beings can eliminate as much as we can of these harmful products but we can not isolate ourselves , we need to be as happy as possible because worrying about things we don't contrôle will work against us and weaken the immune system , your body needs lots of nutrition as you possibly can give it , if it's strong by ways if nutrition you won't react to so many things , ONE thing at a time 🙂I found that skin disorders and food intolerance  is not only from lack of nutrition but mostly "stress"  and a weakened immune system ! All can be adjusted with time
