I'm plagued, are daily antibiotics worth it?

A couple of months ago I started a discussion regarding relief from a UTI that I was suffering from in that current moment. I got all sorts of suggestions and recommendations but I decided to give D-mannos a try. For 5 months I hadn't had a single infection (which is weird for me, I usually get them every 2-3 months) especially now I'm living with my partner, we're having sex almost very day I thought for sure my infections would increase, it seemed D-mannose was my all time cure.
I went for two Renal scans in the time without infections and no underlying issues were found.
unfortunately today I have found myself once again stuck on the toliet in agony from a full blown infection.
last time I checked in with my doctor they assured me after my next infection they would get me on a daily dose antibiotic.
Are they worth it?
I would rather not due to the common fear of growing resistant but at this point after realizing the cure I thought would beat it didn't, I'm all out of options. I'm a university student and i cannot afford to be stuck at home with infections at this important time. I have deadlines that I'm risking due to being in so much pain.
all opinions and experiences will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Not only the resistance part but I would advise against the antibiotic. Yes, it can help and provide some cure but chances are the UTI is going to repeat itself. Then what, another antibiotic? Hell no. This way you will just be messing your gut flora and killing all the good bacteria that support your immune system and general health.
Try taking some probiotics. Am sure you have heard of these. Healthy, good bacteria that boost our immune system and help to fight off other bad bacteria that cause infections and various health complications and problems. My advise to you is to get some probiotic supplements. Personally, I have used and can recommend Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural. This is a natural combination of healthy bacteria that comes highly recommended from a trusted brand.
I am a bit surprised honestly about the D-Mannose failing to stop the UTI. Anyways drink more water and look into the probiotics. I think this is one of the best options you have now

hi. I have a strain of pseudamonas that is resistant to antibiotics and I use Fire Cider daily. 1 shot a day. If you are full blown infected 2 shots a day... morning and night. it tastes like hot sauce but it is so worth it!!! you will notice the difference right away! I cant make any claims here but it works! promise!

The following is my reply to another patient. I hope it helps.
It is horrible to take long term antibiotic, which will destroy your digestive system and immune system, and give you fungi when bacteria are killed. It would be even harder to kill fungi. To have fungi is probably the reason that your UTI turned to be chronic. I had been in chronic UTI for many years until I found my own way to solve it. The doctor cannot help. The holistic doctor may do the work.
My suggestion is to stop the antibiotics. Instead, you may drink D-manos powder, Apple cider vinegar, a lot of Vitamin C. Stop eating or drinking anything with sugar. At the same time, wash the exterior of the feminine part with the diluted white vinegar.
Also if you may also your vagina to see if there is bacteria or fungi there. You may apply some prebiotic vaginal suppositories because vagina could be the cause of the UTI particularly during and after manopause.
Good luck!

It is crucial to enhance the immune system. Eat healthy food, take good probiotic , a lot of vitmin C. Another trick is to put th antibiotic cream outside of urinary tract after sex. Oregano helps too.
