I'm really struggling with my prolapse

Last year I was diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder. I had physiotherapy (pelvic floor exercises) and felt much better. Two weeks ago I spent a day gardening and felt a huge lump between my legs. It did go back in but since then by lunchtime I have a bulge between my legs. It's so uncomfortable. I have backache and feel constantly drained. As soon as I start doing any housework it gets worse. I am so irritable as I feel dirty and feel as though my insides are falling out. I went to the doctors and am having a pessary fitted next week. If this doesn't work I don't know what I'll do. I've always been so active. I've started doing pelvic floor exercises again but they don't seem to be working and I'm terrified of having surgery. I've read such horror stories
