I'm screaming one minute and crying the next ????

Good morning, I'm new to this group and hope I'm not the only one feeling this way. I'm 45 years old, I'm very irritable, can't be bothered, I can get angry over the smallest thing and then can just sit and cry. I'm having hot sweats but not all the time, disturbed sleep or not being able to sleep is really getting on my nerves, sex is the last thing on my mind which is causing issues as my husband thinks I've gone off him and feeling the way I do, I get irritated with him even more. He says I can't be menapausal as the blood tests came back fine!!! Which is probably true but why am I feeling this way and what shall I do next do I see my doctor again? Any advise please 😑

Hi lisab , sounds like the symptoms of peri menopause? I was told different by my Drs with blood test results ! But I knew I felt different. If it were me I would go to see a different Dr. I remember feeling the way you do , good luck.

    Hi Lisa,

Those sound like perimenopausal symptoms to me. I have had times of uncontrollable screaming and crying. I have had extreme feelings of frustration.

These symptoms are incredibly difficult to deal with.

    Take care.

      Hi Bev,

Thank you for your reply. I've done nothing but read up on it and the new symptoms are really itchy eye and very dark shadows under my eyes, I suppose disturbed sleep doesn't help.

      Take care lovely ?

I wonder why we have to deal with all these??? Why we have to struggle every single day to work, to sleep, to function like normal human beings!

I don’t find anything normal at meno, my only thought is to take hrt the longer I can and just to go on my life !

I feel that the majority of women in the future will take hrt and use it as anti-aging drug for life! Life is awful without our estrogen and our bodies are not designed to live for long without it.

Hi Vicky I agree with you it's awful without oestrogen! Just go on with your life I want to stay on it as feel so much better.

      Hi Vicky,

It's pants isn't it. Thank you for your reply. I'm going to go see the Dr again and go from there. Have you tried any herbal remedies from the health shop? I went yesterday and just didn't know as the side effects of all remedies we're shocking, guess I'm scared to try as feel rubbish already.

      Take care ?

      Hi Lisa,

?I know how you feel ,I lose my temper so quickly and feel like screaming and then crying.

?I'm on HRT but trying to get the dose right along with citalopram.

I hate how I look ,how I feel and just want to stay in bed .

My doctor has just signed me off from work .I really want to feel well again .

?I felt like this along time before the blood tests finally came back to confirm I was going through the menopause .

Hi! I didn’t try any herbal remedies cause despite they can relieve some symptoms they are not tested. I need hrt for the protection for my bones and heart. I take vitamins too, as vitamin D and magnesium. I don’t think that is good for our health to struggle with all these nonsense and I am determined not to allow my hormones to ruin my life. I will take everything that can give a quality of the life I had before and I don’t care about what and if in the future. Feel grateful for the forum! smile

      Hello Carol,

Thank you for your message. I'm going to see my Dr again once the appointments are available to book!!

I like you hate feeling this way, I feel robbed of my bubblyness, I sometimes feel I could just Jack everything in and walk away, really trying hard to feel positive.

      Good luck lovely x
