I’m sooo fed up about my hair - help!

I’ve been perimenopausal for over 18 months and have successfully alleviated or reduced many of my symptoms but despite a mirena coil and bio identical estrogen, my hair has become unmanageable. It’s thinner (no noticeable hair loss), not growing much but the biggest problem is the dry coarse condition where I used to have soft shiny hair that behaved. I really can’t do anything to make it look better. As I know I’m perimenopausal it doesn’t take much for my moods to dip and some days I feel depressed about how I look. I know it’s only my hair but this is becoming a real issue for me and my confidence is already low. Any tips and advice re managing it? And will this ever improve????!

I started taking 1 tbsp of olive oil every day and it worked like a charm! No more hair falling out in the shower, shininess restored and as an added benefit, my joints no longer hurt!
I was amazed, to tell you the truth! I've not been to any doctors or changed anything else in my routine. I'm an ex-computer consultant so I change only one thing at a time to see if there's any difference and boy, did this new habit make a difference! I've been doing it about a month now. Amazing!

To add, I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil by California Olive Ranch. Researched like crazy first
Great company and practices. No, I'm not a sales person for them .. I'm just picky

Yes. Mine was dried out and coarse, too. The olive oil solved that, surprisingly. Mine was getting thinner and I was getting some handfuls in the shower. That stopped too. Yay! Also, side benefit of skin softening that I didn't mention. Wow. It's changed a few things for the better. I used to eat a half avocado every day but that didn't hold a candle to this change. Since I've been having that oil, I've stopped the avocado - too much of a good thing LOL
There's a lot of wonderful advice on these forums here! I'm so glad I've found them.
