Yes costo is a possibility. And also, I am not a specialist and wouldn't swear to it but pericarditis can come and go and sometimes be difficult to detect. Did you have any feverishness at all?

Costochondritis can appear for all kinds of reasons but if you are having dizziness too without explanation....ask for your blood tests to cover ana crp and esr. I have an auto immune disease and it basically kicked off with similar symptoms. Over time other symptoms appeared. I hope it is something which passes for you and I know how uncomfortable costochondritis can be. Awful. If it continues I would ask if there is any potential treatments....anti inflammatories for example which might alleviate it.

Hi Alex. I also have chest pain for a while now. Been to the doc and he said i have a fatty liver and abdominal gas in my pancreas and thats what causes my chest pain. He gave me meds but its not working. My personal opinion is....... anexity and stress. I had a very bad experiance at work. Lost everything. I had to relocate, and that took the best of me. And since that bad experiance my chest pain and other problems started. Hope that helps a little. Thinus
