First one in to theatre 8.30am, got talked into have a spinal and light GA, was so nervous, but it's done and I'm on my way to recovery, I'm so pleased it's over. Thank you all so much for all your support, it's really amazing to know that people you've never met actually care about you and your ups and down. Bless you all.

Good to hear you've got through it ok - hope you found as I did that all the understandable worry & fear about the procedure itself was so much worse than the reality.
Just take each day as it comes, and you're recovery and feeling human again will slowly return.
Best wishes
Mike

I am beginning to feel like the last to have an overdue baby and everyone else is in the throes of motherhood ! I am sure my replacement will be nowhere near as pleasurable, but genuinely so happy for Veronica whom has been so brave and strong, and waited much longer than me. Thank you for thinking of me. I can't walk at all tonight, and wonder how much worse the operation could possibly be!! I need some crutches and quick!! Xx
