Hi,
Anyone have any ideas about treating G.A.D. and depression with natural products. I''m checking acupuncture as well.
I want to try and cut down on the meds. I take.
take care

I have used acupuncture and homeopathy extensively for this and many other things.
In conjunction with therapy, they worked very well. You can geet acupuncture on the NHS now, so it should be free. If you're in or near London, you can ask your GP to refer you to the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital, which is also free.
One last thing - reflexology. I was working for a (disabled) man who was studying reflexology, so as his assistant, went to the classes with him. One day, the tutor asked me if I would mind being a 'patient' for another student to learn on. I agreed to do this and was very surprised by the results. In fact, i had to stay off work for a week afterwards, while all the toxic things in my body which had been rreleased by the reflexology came out of my system. The whole group was fascinated by this (as was i) and I certainly think that reflexology is very useful.
I have found in the past that any natural products containing valerian and avina sativa have helped me to sleep.
All the best, anad don't forget that therapy will play a big part in your rrecovery from anxiety. Mesage me any time if you think I can help - I was a midwife for years and used homeopathy in my practice. Tess.
