Hi,

Anyone have any ideas about treating G.A.D. and depression with natural products. I''m checking acupuncture as well.

I want to try and cut down on the meds. I take.

take care

Thanks for all you posts and advice.

I've been fighting this for years and have tried just about everything, including  stays in mh. clinics.

I take 10mg Lexapro in the morning and am wondering, as I am very sensitive to medication, if that is too much. I take 0.125mg clonazepam when I can't cope.

I've found an acupunture practice near where I live but have heard that you have to stop any medication before they will try to help you.

    I'll see,

    take care

saw my CPN today. Interesting as I am a "medical enigma" his words because I am so over sensitive to meds. he says that to try a more complementary approach has to be done with professional help. He suggested first fine tuning the Lexapro I am taking. I see the psychiatrist next week and will suggest dropping the dose from 10mg to 5mg. I'll be tapering as I have dismal side effects with all meds.

At the moment my numb face/foggy brain/ lack of motivation and forgetfulness are not stop all day and everyday. Trouble is they are also symptoms of depression. Not only "the wheels on the bus" but the vicious circle goes round and round. All mh doctoring is trial and error...

      take care Sxx
