IBS causing right testicular pain

Posted , 18 users are following.

Hi there I have IBS for quite long time. Recently I am experiencing sharp wave like pain in my right testical before I have urge for bowls movement. Even after opening my bowls I still have those wave like pain every 3-5 minutes. I myself had checked my testes and there are no lumps of bumps found. The pain comes from right in the centre. It comes and goes like wave like sensation.

My question is there really any connections at all between bowls syndrome and testicular pain?

If anyone has similar symptoms pls share your experience.

Thanks

i to found this post and i have had the same situation 3 times. really bad flair up (IBS) really bad gas and constipation and yes testical and even some penis pain. it has to surly be linked to pressure in the abdominal area.

I have scoliosis and have had chronic pain for years. My pain meds increased over time causing chronic constipation. The "S" shape of the spine contorts my muscles and pulls my hips unevenly. I'm skinny and don't have much butt padding. Sitting at a chair, even with a coccyx pillow, the following areas begin hurting quickly on my right side: thigh, bottom of hip bone (that I sit on), pelvis and testicle.

I'm positive there is a correlation between an increase in right testicle pain and constipation. The cycle of constipation often has a hard "plug" of stool, with loose stool following. I've noticed after the hard stool is passed, the testicle feels slightly better.

The right testicle over the years has positioned itself high and slightly forward. When sitting, I never notice my left testicle but I have to be gentle with the right. It feels like the tissues to the testicle are being stretched. I've begun cupping the testicles when I sit so the right doesn't rub against the right leg. Sometimes the right retracts, or feels like it does. It also feels and appears like the right testicle is where the penis would be when sitting, which might be why the penis is also retracting. Ultrasound was clean.

Also have intermittent nerve pain through both legs, much worse on the top of the right thigh and the right leg. Have burned the nerves before, and have had a new type of top of right thigh pain. Might do again soon.

The bottom and inside of the bottom of my hip bone always hurts and I often have to lay on my left side with a pillow between my knees or on my back with legs raised. Been trying an NSAID cream (Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel, 1%) & CBD cream (Hempbomps CBD Pain Cream, really expensive) & Aspercream lately and I think they might help. Also, I roll my skin and fascia with my hands around the groin and it seems to help. It's all not enough though.

    All,

I too have experienced this. My father was not much of a sharer, but i know he had digestive issues. I thought his was from alcohol, but now i think it may be genetic. Last year was my first bout. i felt pain in lower right abdomen that moved to right testicle. They had me get a CT of abdomen to check for appendicitis. All was normal. Things seemed to get better than almost a year later, same thing pops up. Additionally, i find i am always gassy and will feel an intermittent pain like spasm in my upper right thigh. Found out during a self exam for lumps on testicle that there must be a nerve connection because it caused the same thigh pain. Hopefully, this time going to another specialist gets to the bottom of this. Hope others who read or contributed found a solution. It really disrupts ones life going through this.

the pain is extremely debilitating. im experiencing the same at this very moment. what really terrifies me is that my father was just diagnosed with colon cancer, which doubles my chances. i think the best thing to do at this point for all of us is get a colonoscopy. and go from there. my pain lasts for hours and there is no pain medication that touches it

Have you tried not eating Gluten? Seriously go with me. Ive had IBS relates issues for years that over the last 12 months got far worse and led to back stiffness, dizziness, testical pain (diagnosed as epididymitis which led to a month of antibiotics which made stomach much worse) brain fog.....i could go on. Went on on low fodmap, no change. Stopped lactose, no change. Stopped gluten, absolute game changer!! Within 3 days constant burning in stomach stopped (used to make me feel like i constantly needed to pee. After 7 days BM back to normal (not mix of D and C and yellow) and back far less stiff! Cant tell you what a relief this has been. Got to be worth a try, only major downside for me is no more beer, which ill deal withh given the upside and love of wine and whiskey! Good luck to you, hope this post helps someone out there.
