Inside of urethra painful and blue - Anybody knows what this could be?

Anybody knows what this could be?

Ever since a month or two I began having pain. I originally thought it was the glans but I found out the pain is actually coming from inside my urethra. Looking at the inside of my urethra, I see it has blue spots/bruises (see photo). It looks a bit worse in real life but it's hard to photograph correctly.

It also stings a bit after I pee, and sometimes hurts a bit. It especially hurts after sex. I can't have sex a second time because it's too painful. Giving it rest doesn't seem to help, but not giving it rest definitely makes things worse.

There is no discharge. No smell, I don't seem to have any other symptoms. I can't seem to find a STD or STI that just has these issues.

I'm currently abroad until the end of the year, so I can't visit my GP. I can't do a STD test because it's very expensive here (I don't think my insurance covers this). I have an appointment with an urologist, but the waiting time is 3 months.

Anybody knows what this could be?

    i had this for a while (the stinging inside etc) it went on its own. have read about it being vein related, I have other issues , as do others on here , so maybe related snowball effect , but inflammation of the vein etc ? other thing was i thought potentially something pathogenic in semen , and not all was out /didnt go for pee before sleep = reactive substance . but kinda guess work. looking at other threads on here over months, the vein thing seems to fit .

    I have recently discovered the same issue with the irritation and bluey urethra.

    I don't have any discharge, just some redness at times at the tip/entrance. The irritation tends to be more after sex, masturbation, and sometimes passing urine. I have been in a monogamous relationship for 6 years.

    I only recently put two and two together for my issue. For the past 4 months I have been using a muscle massager to stimulate the underside and topside of my shaft just below the head of my penis. This works a charm but as I am hypersexual (I have sex and masturbate several times a day, everyday).

    I believe this is from four potential causes:

    1. Potential nerve damage from excessive use of the massager and hard sex.
    2. Potential balanitis from not cleaning the device often as I should. I use in below the head but at times have put it directly on the tip.
    3. I have always used soap to thoroughly wash my penis and I usually don't dry under the foreskin to avoid towel fibres and potential contamination from others who may have wiped their hands on my towel. (I'm uncircumcised)
    4. I do not always wash straight away after sex/masturbation, as I can be busy working or fall asleep.

    I have tried to abstain but this is basically a problem for me.

    My wife and did STI tests last year and all was fine (we were trying IVF). I'm healthy, late 30's, and surf 3-5 days a week. I do enjoy a 1-3 beers most days.

    I'm very keen to continue seeing how this plays out for others as it seems to be a very rare situation that we are all experiencing.
