Into 8th week: nausea, fatigue and abdominal cramps

Posted , 4 users are following.

I'm into my 8th week and still having nausea, weakness/fatigue, cramps/abdominal pain, headaches, and a feeling that it will never stop. I woke this morning feeling quite sick. I am a little better now after taking Phenergan. If I stay on my feet for very long I just about give out. Anyone else still having these symptoms after this long?

Hi David, I have been using Mirt for about 2 years and since then been getting a lot of abdominal pains/cramps and was diagnosed with IBS. Had been perfectly fine before. What helps me with the stomach cramps and weird abdominal pains is Buscopan which I get prescribed but can also be bought over the counter. Might be useful to check whether its ok to take with all the other meds. Have you tried it? For me its a bit of a life saver. Hope this helps. Best wishes Cintapoppy

Thank you very much! I have never heard of it. You have some meds in the UK that we don't have, but I will definately check it out. Regards, David

The medical name for Buscopan is hyoscine butylbromide and is specifically for abd cramps, pain and discomfort for ,edically confirmed IBS. Good Luck, Cintapoppy

According to my research, that medication isn't available here. But thanks for the info anyway. We have Hyomax, Librax, Bentyl, Levsin, and a few others. They are classed as anti-spasmotics. I have a heart rhythm problem that I take two meds for, and the anti-spasmotics are contraindicated with my heart meds. My sincerest thank you, David
