Is anyone having trouble driving?

I have been crippled financially because my job involves driving. I have to pay someone to drive me around. The other day I was feeling nearly 90% so I started driving, but after several miles I started feeling pressure in both ears and it felt like I was getting dizzy so I pulled over and let my friend drive. I felt maybe 70% after that incident with brain fog and dizziness. After a few days I felt better and tried driving again after several miles I felt nauseous and dizzy and had to pull over. I've felt terrible evey since. Anyone else having driving issues?

Big time. Wife's been driving me to doc apps. Don't get very far down the road before it starts. Usually on the way home from docs it hits real hard. Vertigo hits, then bad dizzy for a couple days.

Hi Waffalobill
In the beginning it was the same for me as a passenger, but now I fell fine 90% of the time as a passenger. If I try to drive that's when the trouble starts for me.

The eye movements and stress to probably. Are you doing eye excersizes ? Or ever do them? They should help if it's simple bpv or some such. If it's something more than that , you should talk to a doc. Did you see a doc? Have the tests done? Between the tests and a therapist, they may be able to narrow it down and help you.

Went to ENT and he gave me antibiotics, steroids etc. He sent me to therapy for the eply maneuver, which hasn't really helped. ENT referred me to a specialist that I go to see next week. Hopefully they can help figure this thing out. I did eye exercise at therapy.

That's about where I am. Therapy didn't help. Halpike/ epely didn't help. ENT referring me to neurotologist. But I have to go over a hour north for that. And the guy has certain days and hours. Gotta see if my wife can take me, or doc can see me on a different day. Set up for Jan. 27 I think. Took over 2 months to get that app.

What steps are you taking on your own. Has anything helped in your recovery? Any advice is appreciated.

Hi
It's pretty much the same for me. I can only drive short distances. This is very frustrating. I hope to be able to drive again soon.

Absolutely! couldn't even sit in the front of our car at the beginning of my VN had to sit in the back because i felt so nauseaous. Driving was out of the question.Used to drive all over . Now 9 months on I am beginning to drive again but only locally. It still affects me ,head pressure and on my eyes too but its managable.
