Is Back Pain part of FM

I have had fm for several months now but just recently my back has been giving me alot of pain and causing me great difficulty in walking, is this usual?

    Hi I have a very bad back with it and have to walk with the aid of a crutch now all of the time sorry

      if  i had to use a crutch it would cripple my upper back neck and shoulders fingers crossed i never need to.

    Yes, back pain which really wipes me out sometimes. Swimming helps and shoes with a lot of 'suspension' (hard to find nice looking ones though!).

      i buy from pavers the shoes are light and have shapped footbeds some have cushioning, but i can only wear there slip on mules ,there shoes are to high, and i wear cowboy or biker boots come autumn /winter
