Had complete hysterectomy in 08. Life has not been the same. How long does this last and is it normal to still have cold sweats ,numb toes and fingers , heart beats fast at times ,buried vision at times. Dizzy even I have time I feel things crawling under my skin to see nothing is there and sometimes my jaw hurts. Sounds like heart problem I know and I have been down that road way too many time to new told it's anxiety dr says it's my thyroid and on medication for it and still no relief.i have used hormone pellets 5 times now and it eased up but still having issues. Going crazy her I'm sick of being sick and worried about it. Anyone else out there like this

Yes all these are symptoms. I had the muscle jerks, tingling all over body and still have jaw problems. This is the result from severe tension for a long period of time. My heart would race and it was difficult to breath properly. I think the answer is just accept it is going to be like this for a while and try not to over think it. I know this is easier said than done. Take care xx

Ok so I broke today and went back on my biOTE pellets. I already feel relief to some degree. Was it the right decision I do not know but while I am on them for the next three months I will be doing some research on n other methods to use. The first few weeks I will feel better but then they seem to slack off. I am really starting to believe that quality of life almost beats quantity of life. I am so thankful for you ladies that have shared with me that I am not alone. I told my husband today about your comments and how much I appreciate the comments and just knowing I'm not crazy and I am really feeling this so thank you ladies

Sara,
I'm sorry that you are having a hard time for so many years. I am a part of a private facebook group for peri menopausal women and I've read many posts of other women having the same symptoms from hormone fluctuations. You're not alone. I was told that there is no way of knowing how long it will last because every woman is different. But it does get better with time as your body adjusts. If you were previously taking hormones maybe your body is now starting to adjust to what it produces without them. (But that is just a thought. I have often wondered that for myself as I contemplate taking hormones to help with my symptom of internal shaking from peri.)
Try your best to keep the anxiety under control. Stress and anxiety tend to exasperate the symptoms. Focus on positive thoughts always reminding yourself; this too will pass.
Take care.

It has been 8 years now I have dealt with this in my life and I'm just so tired of the worries. I told my husband tonight I can't live my life in fear of something going wrong. Trapped like a mouse I am
