there is some redness in my penis and is very painful to touch.i have never been able to grab my glans with my hand.i remember it is from the first time when i retracted my foreskin at 14 years.i thought it was due to sensitivity but it shouldn't hurt that much.also redness shouldnt be present.now i am 16 and is extremely worried about it.will it affect my sex life later on.what should i do to reduce redness and pain.i just started to retract my foreskin whenever i pee or shower.it had become some dry but it is painful to touch then also

today i went to a dermatologist. he told me that there was no redness and everything is normal. i also showed some of my photos and told its normal . he said that it is some type of fungus (diagnosed candidal balanitis in prescription) and prescribed me lulisol cream, cherol 10 , af 400 mg tablet. regarding pain he didn't say anything. it seems he was ignoring and didn't noticed it carefully. redness could be clearly seen but according to him there is nothing. overall experience was actually very weird. now i am very much afraid to tell my parents again to refer to me another doctor.who prescribes ointment for 2 months to be applied 3 days at a time. what do you think what should i do should i apply these things. also what about pain its somewhat sticky and i can't rub the glans directly. does this pain goes away on its own or it will be like this forever?

Your penis sensitivity should decrease as you grow older, due to masturbation or sex. You can use a pair of clippers to trim pubic hair if you desire, although there is no need to do so.
