Is there a chance I have MS?

Hi,

I'm a 32 year old mother of 3 and from the time I was about 14 i have had these crazy unexplained health symptoms and just gave up on doctors completely. I have a good history with MS starting with my great grandfather to my grandfather and my mother. I have never though for a second that I would ever get MS but lately I'm getting a little worried.

Age 14 to 32 symptoms- chest pains that where so unbareable that I thought I was going to die I would have to sit straight up in a chair unable to move a inch with out having the feeling of 10 elephants sitting on my chest sharp needles piercing through my chest and numbness in my left arm this would last anywhere from 4 to 7 days and would happen once every month or so.

I always had chronic leg pain I would go through bouts of if pain unable to sleep sharp pain up and down my legs and constant tingling sensation.

Red spots on my lower legs they would feel like a round bump under my skin very painful throbbing they would last about 2 weeks and disappear into bruises.

Age 32

I feel like my legs are always falling asleep I get that tingling feeling not really sure if I want to throw out that numbness word just yet.

I always get muscle spasms in my eyes my legs my arms it's really annoying

And I always feel like I can't keep the circulation in any of my limbs.

I suffer from pain behind my left eye

My muscles in my feet cramp up

Unable to sleep from the pain in my legs

I can't take long car rides I have to get out and walk around

Went to the doctor I had a ecg done and battery of blood test everything normal

Went to the eye doctor perfect eyes

What the heck is wrong with me???????

    Hi Liz,

there are some of your symptoms that I've never heard of with MS like the pressure on your chest and the spots on your legs?

Personally I'm not convinced it sounds like MS?

Does anyone disagree and have heard of all of these symptoms with MS?

      Hi Sara,

Thank you so much I guess I got spooked when I went to my doctor and she decided to do a MRI of my spine and head and she said I had poor reflexes. I was really hoping that she was going to tell me that I had arthritis but all the other test I have had all came back negative. I have just been getting so angry at myself cause I'm 32 years old and I just feel like I should not feel the way I do. I have tried so many over the counter medication and nothing seems to help with the sort of pain I'm having.

      I feel for you Liz,

there is a symptom checker on the top of this page on the right hand side, have you tried putting your symptoms on there?

      Hi Sarah,

Just tried it gave me a few different things but considering the test my doctor has done all ready I don't see any of the top ten causing my issues and of course the MS popped up in the top ten.

I don't have diabetes no lung cancer and no inflammatory problems those have all been ruled out.

      Thanks for the suggest

    Hi Liz

I'm also 32 and in limbo land at mo. I don't know if you have ms but I wanted to hi and to let you know I'm aware of how feed up you feel. I have two children and have to rely on them so much and I hate it. I lose the use of my legs and the doctors really don't have a clue what's going on.

    Stay strong and postitve
