have the same issue , im going to a dermatogist monday. will let you know after my visit. hopefully someone can provide some guidance please

Hamada, are you using anything as a lube for masturbation, such as baby oil / lotion or a skin cream lotion or moisturiser, or anything else you use on your penis for masturbation?

I would suggest you stop using the canesten, it is really for people who are sexually active, unless you have poor personal hygiene - shower everyday and fresh underwear each day are the essentials.

Heyy, thanks for the reply, I don't use any lubricant for masturbation, plus I'm a hygienic person, I don't shower every day but like every 3 days or 4 days. Haven't masturbated for a week now with no effects on it. I'm just freaking out. Hope you've something helpful

What you may have is a dermatological reaction, and these are most often termed contact, because something the damaged or irritated skin has been in contact with, or it is due to an allergic reaction.

long-term if this does not clear it may be a skin specialist, a Dermatologist you would need to see.

Simply, the less or least things the skin on the head of your penis is in contact with the better. So this includes soap and shower gel. Some people get a reaction when their clothes are washed with a different soap powder or cleaning agent - so check whether this has been the case for your clothes and what they are washed with.

It could even have started as an insect bite - there are so many things that can cause this kind of reaction in the skin.

I would wait a further 2 or 3 weeks with minimal contact for your penile skin with anything as far as you can achieve. Wash with running water only and carefully fully dry the damaged skin with a clean dry towel that ONLY YOU use.

Abstain from masturbation if you can .....

Thanks sir, you were really helpful so you're saying I should wait for 2 weeks without any treatment? Just washing it with clean water. I have stopped using canesten. Sometimes it becomes dark red and sometimes it becomes pink. Let's hope it heals itself.

Waiting for 2 or 3 weeks whether this issue will resolve itself, you help the process of healing the skin by not applying anything to it, washing your penis after you urinate and cleaning your penis as I have described. Abstaining from masturbation for the 2 to 3 weeks will also help.

You can update your Forum Post here in 3 weeks time and I can advise you further if you like ......

Heyy, kindly check these photos? Is this healing or not? What's your view? Sorry to disturb you again.

No problems: how your skin looks now can simply be part of the healing process and this is the point that it has reached at the present time.

If this was me I would apply an ordinary skin antiseptic cream to this, such that you would use anywhere on the body for cuts and grazes of the skin. This may aid the healing process - the skin needs to be clean and fully dry when you apply the cream.

Try to keep the head of the penis from touching anything for as long as you can, so I suggest you apply the cream immediately before going to bed .....

Heyyy please look at my condition, it's gotten worse what should I do now.

Heyy sorry to disturb you again kindly view the pictures below I'm so worried now.

Yes, I replied in another Forum you posted in - you need to see a skin specialist as soon as possible - most people know these as Dermatologists .....

Heyy thanks for the reply, what you think this is and why this has gotten worse, I'll visit dermatologist as soon as possible.

    • Posted

If you are still applying anything to you penis stop using it - clean the area with water only and dry carefully with a clean dry towel that only you use.

If you masturbate you must abstain from this until the problem is resolved

If you can see as Regular / Family Doctor or GP quickly go and see them - you need to get the correct treatment in place for this before it gets any worse ......

It is clear to see that there has been substantial improvement from the very first photos that you posted in this Forum Discussion.

So, there are two distinct approaches you can take to dealing with the remaining distressed skin.

To continue as you have been doing over the last 7 weeks or so, or to see a Medical Professional - a Doctor as David suggests.

Healing of distressed, damaged or diseased penile skin can take quite a long time compared to skin elsewhere on the human body - so my suggestion would be to continue for a further 5 to 7 weeks then to review again how your penile skin is healing overall. Particularly, does the remaining distressed skin actually heal or not.

I think that if you took the Medical professional route, even if you went to see a Skin Specialist you risk them giving you a topical medication (an ointment) that could distress the skin and you may loose some or all the gains you have made in the last 7 weeks or so .....

Yes, I actually have that in my mind too, because I've seen the side effects of Clotrimazole, the thing I've learned from my experience is that everyone with this kind of fungal infection, if using Clotrimazole should apply just a tiny bit of it, I don't how to explain but very very tiny bit, else it will adversely affect your skin. Furthermore, I'm not applying anything just routine washing it. I'll update after a week or two about my condition so everyone can have a benefit, these issues are so distressing.

Hey there, hope you are doing fine in these hard times, so it's been 6 months now, and again I can back where I started, and I think that was my mistake because I masturbated alot in these past weeks, and my glans couldn't heal properly. Please have a look and guide me how it looks now do I need to apply something on it or not. Thanks.
