Is this genital herpes??

imageAbout two days ago my vagina started itching. When i looked at it, my skin seemed to be peeling. I was able to peel off a piece of skin from my labia minora. Yesterday when I looked at it, it looked like this. It is very painful when I urinate. I don't have any of the flu like symptoms that come with herpes though. I've been with the same guy for three months and didn't notice anything until now. Can someone please help me?! I also have an abnormal amount of discharge, but it doesn't have an odor. image

    soo,

I have a strong feeling that I have herpes,

I just don't have enough courage to go get it tested.

because i feel like my whole reputation will be ruined. Like I wont be able to get married(find love) or have kids without putting them at risk.

umm any feedback will be great.

im hoping you've gotten the courage to see the doc by now, but that does look very classically like herpes. saying this for anyone that happens across this forum and wonders. Remember that going to the doctor means getting medications and creams that allow you to live a much more normal life, with far less outbreaks and a less chance of transmitting to partners. There is life after herpes. But getting care comes first

      from my knowledge

that looks very similar to a fungal infection which is caused from a bad yeast infection. but just double check and get it checked out by doctors!

I don't know how old this is but you probably shouldn't listen to these idiots. Go to the doctor if you REALLY believe it is herpes but that actually looks like a yeast infection. If you haven't ever had sex or haven't in a long while before that came up it is probably not herpes. When I had a yeast infection that is exactly what it looked like. The blisters are probably from you scratching and irritating it,the painful urination is also associated with the yeast and not all the time does a yeast infection have a smell. You may need to consider drinking more water and going to get something for the yeast infection if it itches like RIGHT after you scratch and it feels worse then it's a yeast infection.

People are so stupid, no wonder herpes still exist because people are uninformed.
